I offer 16 years of experience in the Training and Development environment which includes extensive knowledge in

EMPLOYMENT HISTORY
I contributed to the organisational goals by managing the delivery of training through the effective leadership,
planning, organising, controlling and support of all delivery team resources in order to achieve the strategic
intent of the Aurum Institute Training Department and other Business stakeholders to unleash human
potential. I was also part of the team that oversees the Skills Development process of the Ekurhuleni
Department of Health by sitting on the Ekurhuleni Training committee to streamline the efficiencies on
deliverables.
My years of experience together with my qualifications have enabled me to manage the training needs of the
Ekurhuleni Department of Health as well as the mentorship of professional nurses for the initiation of patients
on ARVs by using best practice from experience and various learning environments that I have been privy to.
My previous role as a project team member at Inter-Active Technologies enabled us to gain the prestigious
Star 3 Customer Service Standard by Services SETA as well as successfully get Inter-Active Technologies
accredited as a Training Provider with Services SETA.

• Identified key stakeholders to engage with and found ways to build relationships with them.
• Key stakeholders included RTC (Regional Training Centre), HAST Managers, Programme managers, Sub-
district management, Local area managers, other organisations in the area & Colleges and universities in
the area
• I was responsible for the training needs of Clinical staff and data staff in 97 facilities in the 3 Ekurhuleni
Sub-Districts i.e. the North, The East and The South in the following manner:
 Used district DHIS data to look at where the gaps were for the district and brainstormed innovative
ways of addressing these gaps
 Engaged with HAST management and programme managers
 Met with facility heads and staff and noted their challenges and found out what they regarded as
priorities
 Where training was identified as a need by facility managers, explained to them that trained staff
would have to be mentored afterwards, in order to gain their buy-in Developing Training Plans
 Developed plans and prioritized activities and resources to support Businesses’ demand for training
and the achievement of defined L&D operational, tactical and strategic objectives.
 Ensured the effective and efficient resource allocation (e.g. facilitators, service coordinators, learning
materials, rooms, technology, facilities, etc.) against the Ekurhuleni District Training Plan
 Understood and was able to apply relevant content about the business units and business partnering
needs and knowledge in leading and managing people and processes
 Identified and solved problems, made decisions and implemented solutions to support the overall
Delivery Team’s performance and achievement of objectives e.g. escalated IT issues or provided
feedback to the Director for Quality Improvement and Training.
 Monitored, managed and provided feedback on L&D and Learner key performance areas, quality and
resources according to the operational, tactical and strategic plans of the business
 Ensured the accurate and timeous collection, analysis, reporting and availability of relevant training
delivery data to measure training effectiveness as and when required.
• Internal Audit experience:
 I conducted internal clinical audits at Head Office on data captured by Data Capturers and Data
Monitors
 Ensured that the data integrity was maintained for data captured onto internal systems and TIER.Net
 Ensured that Data Capturers and Data Monitors captured data from Clinical Stationery onto TIER.Net
accurately and correctly
 Ensured Data integrity was maintained throughout the process
 I conducted Clinical audits at Ekurhuleni Clinics and Hospitals for information captured by Data
Capturers, Data Clerks and Professional Nurses
 Ensured that Professional Nurses completed the Clinical stationary correctly and accurately

 My role entailed dual reporting to the Ekurhuleni District Manager and the Training and Mentoring
Programme Manager at Head Office
 Monthly report on training done (all forms, e. g. in-service, spot, formal), mentorship sessions and
number of health workers mentored, meetings attended and other activities by myself and mentors,
 Compiled the quarterly report by collating monthly reports,
 Compared training and mentorship achievements with the Aurum deliverables in order to plan better
for upcoming months
 To report effectively and accurately, I went through the mentors' reports in order to obtain the
required information
• I provided coaching and mentoring to The Aurum Institute Training staff
• Managed the PDP process for Ekurhuleni Clinical Mentors with all stakeholders by overseeing the accurate
completion of PDP documentation
• Assisted HR with accreditation of Training Department with HWSETA by ensuring that the necessary
documentation is completed correctly
