PROFILE
I have over eight (8) years cumulative professional experience in providing technical assistance and management
of public health logistics and monitoring of public health programs through PEPFAR and other international
donor funds to Nigeria, with an extensive training in commodities quantification and supply chain management
from JSI SCMS Project; and on Monitoring & Evaluation from MeasureEvaluation. As well as being a member of
IAPHL (International Association of Public Health Logisticians), I have a very good knowledge of the Nigerian
public health sector due to my high level working relationships with State Ministries of Health, PSM TWGs, M&E
TWGs and SACAs of several States and at the national level having been a key member of the National PSM TWG
and Strategic Information TWG as well as a former chairperson of the Akwa Ibom State Logistics/M&E TWG.
PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
Logistics Advisor, John Snow Inc. (SCMS & USAID|DELIVER Project); September 2012 till date
(September 2012 - March 2014 – Cross River State; April 2014 till date – Rivers State)
Provide technical support to and manage all Public Health Programs (Malaria, TB,
Reproductive Health, HIV) supply chain activities in the State
Provide technical support to the State Logistics Management Coordination Unit (LMCU)
and provide coordination in managing supported health facilities in the State to ensure
commodity security of all relevant health commodities
Provide technical support to the LMCU in the preparation of State Quarterly
Commodities Stock Status Reports (QSSR) for all Public Health programs (HIV, Malaria,

Share analyzed commodities stock status data with all relevant stakeholders and policy

Provide technical support to the State on commodity utilization, monitoring &
evaluation, forecasting and supply planning using the State’s Stock Status Report and
relevant supply chain indicators
Support coordination of supply chain activities in the State including timely collation and
validation of LMIS reports from all health facilities working collaboratively with
implementing partners, coordinating agencies, program managers to inform accurate
supply chain decisions
Collaborate with the State PSM TWG to carry out capacity development through routine
MSV (Monitoring and Supportive Visits) to health facilities with poor performance
indicators
Provide technical support to the LMCU in the development of an integrated State
workplan for all public health programs’ supply chain activities
Support capacity building activities for GoN (Government of Nigeria) counterparts and
other stakeholders on supply chain activities
Deploy other cost effective strategies in LMIS data collection aside from cluster review
meetings which include use of LGA M&E personnel for report collation and emails for
LMIS reports submission for ART comprehensive sites
Prepare commodities long-haul requirement estimates for the entire phase (Abia, Akwa
Ibom, Bayelsa, Cross River & Rivers States) using bimonthly commodities utilization and
SOH data analysis
Ensure capacity transfer and provide technical support to the State focal persons in the
LMCU on LMIS reports collection/collation from health facilities, reports validation,
development of LMD (Last Mile Distribution) matrix and preparation of State Quarterly
Stock Status Report
Conduct TB Mentoring, FP CLMS (Contraceptives Logistics Management System) & MCLS
(Malaria Commodities Logistics System) Trainings for health facility staff and support
routine review meetings
Conducted end-user LMCH (Logistics Management of HIV Commodities) trainings for
SDP staff in Akwa Ibom, Cross River, Bayelsa and Rivers States
Collated and analyzed shelve-life of commodities and take remedial actions to
avert/reduce expiries by facilitating community outreach to increase utilization and
carrying-out redistribution as may be required
Dejunking and waste drive management: Collate data on expiries and on several
occasions have acted on behalf of the Operations Department to supervise movement,
screening, weighing and incineration of expired and quarantined health commodities at
the incineration plant
