I am a seasoned Medical laboratory Scientist with good analytical mind and experience in Management of
men and materials. I have acquired skills for over 20 years in all areas of medical laboratory sciences,
logistics, Health System Strengthening, inventory and warehousing management in the public and
development sectors. I have been well exposed to supply chain management with USAID funded
International Non-Governmental Organizations. I have worked with AXIOS and Family Health International
(FHI360) on the GHAIN and SIDHAS projects. I am experienced in the use of Microsoft words, Excel,
PowerPoint, DHIS 2 and mSupply software for warehousing.

Work Experience.
a. Logistics Management, Health System strengthening and Continuous Quality Improvement
October 2014 – Date Technical Officer – HSS/ Logistics with FHI360 in the development of FHI 360 in-
house capacity among the various departments, implementing agencies (IAs) and all tiers of government in
all aspects of logistics and supply chain management of health commodities. Provide technical support and
leadership to Nigeria’s efforts to strengthen the procurement and supply chain management system of
health commodities using evidence based data from the Logistics management information system, to
reduce stock-outs, lower costs and eliminate wastage
• Work with state Logistics team to strengthen inventory management at the facility level and Community
Based Organizations (CBOs) to ensure that all required health inventory checks are conducted, all
variances reconciled and flag areas requiring redistributions.
• Ensure proper documentation and timely reporting at the facility level and Participate in joint DQA

exercise with other partners
• Ensure that all commodities are stored effectively
• Work with SCMS to ensure that commodities are supplied to all 472 supported health facilities in Cross
River State and flag distribution gaps by reviewing proof of delivery document
• Provide technical coordination in product selection, quality assurance, receipt of commodities and
efficient storage and distribution systems.
• Prepare reporting rates, stock status reports, expiry status reports, stock outs reports and bimonthly
state aggregate reports and share with Country Office
• Work with the state team to ensure all logistics data are captured into DHIS
• Support functionality of the state Logistics technical working groups
• Provide technical support to facility staff on generation of bimonthly CRRIRF of laboratory reagents
and other project commodities
• Build the capacity of facility staff and members of the state logistics team on supply chain
management.
• Conduct quarterly monitoring and supervisory visits to facilities on logistics activities

November, 2011 – September, 2014. Logistics Advisor with Axios Foundation in the implementation of
SIDHAS programme to build Government of Nigeria capacity to deliver and sustain integrated, quality
HIV/AIDS services. SIDHAS is designed with a focus on health system strengthening (HSS), with all
interventions delivery within the GON’s strategic health framework and structure.
• Build the capacity of the state government officials and health personnel to forecast, quantify,
acquire and distribute HIV/AIDS health commodities.
• Quantification of drugs, Laboratory reagents and consumables.
• Warehousing of all project commodities at the state warehouse.
• Distribution of health commodities to the Health Facilities supported by SIDHAS (for gap-filling
purposes)
• Redistribution of health commodities between HFs.
• Support and strengthening the LMIS to enable HF report their consumption data accurately and
timely.
• Building capacity of the SITs to mentor, monitor and supervise SCM activities both at health facility
level
• Advocating for State driven SCM activities with leveraging of resources from government to support
the activities
• Supporting the State coordination mechanisms to ensure integration of HIV/AIDS related
commodities into the State Warehousing, Distribution and LMIS)
• Supporting the state in coordination and harmonization of other IPs SCM activities to achieve
maximum efficiency and synergies through the formation of LTWG.
• Support the state to formulate and implement SC performance indicators.
• Provide logistics and technical assistance to the state government officials to monitor and supervise
the health facilities.
• Support the state officials to review the health facilities stock status reports and provide feedback to
the health faculties.
b. Commodities Logistics Planning, Monitoring and Evaluation
September, 2009 – September, 2011. Commodity Logistics Officer with Family Health International
(FHI)/Achieving Health Nigeria initiative (AHNi) is a public health and development organization working to
improve the lives of the world’s most vulnerable people. FHI’s employees worldwide conduct research and
implement programs that advance public health and building local capacity to address development needs.

The tasks include providing technical support to the implementation of high quality services with primary
focus on health commodities and or logistics management related to program implementation under the
supervision of the Senior Medical Services Advisor.
Specific Responsibilities include:
• Coordinate the design and implementation of components related to commodities logistics in
program implementation.
• Provide technical assistance to all aspects of commodities forecasting, storage and distribution and
capacity building relating to logistics management of field programs.
• Contributes to development of lesions learned from programs and projects related to commodities
logistics and apply these to modify existing programs and improve the design of new programs.
• Assists in the provision of programmatic assistance to partners on issues of commodities logistics
management, monitoring and evaluation.
• Perform other health system strengthening duties as assigned.
c. Logistics Management and Warehousing
November, 2008 – 2009. State Program Officer (Commodities Logistics) with Axios Foundation. An
organization that provides strategic consulting and implementation services that increase access to
medicines, diagnostics and healthcare. Axios provides its clients with expert knowledge of HIV, cancer and
other chronic diseases, as well as specialized expertise in healthcare delivery in low- and middle- income
countries.
Provide technical support to implementation of high quality services with primary focus on health
commodities logistics management related to program implementation.
Specific Responsibilities include:
• Ensure that Order requests from Health facilities are promptly processed by Axios Central
Warehouse & State Program Depot where applicable.
• Monitor and ensure effective Inventory Management System at the Health Facilities for
completeness and accuracy of all transactions.
• Conduct periodic stock verification exercise and reconciliation of records to ensure accountability of
the commodities issued to the Health Facilities
• Have good understanding of DHIS to ensure that quality data are entered into DHIS at the zone and
subsequently exported to the Country Office.
• Analyze data from DHIS on commodity logistics and share same with stakeholders at the zonal level
and country office level.
• Monitoring and supervision of the Laboratory commodities and RTKs in HAST Project in the
selected LGA
• Conduct routine monitoring visits to GHAIN Project sites to provide technical support and capacity
building for staff of the sites.
• Follow up at the Health Facilities on timely preparation and submission of monthly reports on
commodities logistics.
• Participate in trainings /meetings organized by GHAIN Zonal Office.
d. Medical Laboratory Services
March, 1994 - November, 2008. Assistant Chief Medical Laboratory Scientist with Lagos State Ministry of
Health/ Heath Service Commission Lagos State. Rising from the post of Medical laboratory
scientist to Assistant Chief Medical Laboratory Scientist having worked in various sections and

departments in different General Hospital including being a head of department in some of the
hospitals in Lagos State.
Specific Responsibilities include:
• Supervision, screening and certification of blood using ELIZA technique for testing of HIV, Syphilis,
and Hepatitis B and C for blood transfusion services
• Supervision and testing human samples such as blood, tissue, urine or cerebrospinal and faecal
material for enzymes, hormones, and other constituents

• Implementing quality control procedures (both internal and external) to maintain accurate results for
achieving good laboratory practice.
• Supervision & coordination of GHAIN / PEPFAR laboratory for antiretroviral activities e.g. CD4/CD8
counts, clinical chemistry & haematology test.
• General management of laboratory department, responding to and redirecting professional enquiries
and assisting in ensuring that the necessary turnaround times for reporting results are achieved
wherever possible.
• Working with computers, sophisticated automated machinery, microscopes and other hi-tech
laboratory equipment for CD4 testing, Heamatology and clinical chemistry.
• Procurement of laboratory equipment,reagents, chemicals & consumables.
• HIV Counseling and testing at the Heart-to-Heart centre.
• Collection, X-matching of blood for transfusion services and analysing cell cultures grown from
tissue samples and identifying blood groups
• Management and supervision of microbiology and parasitology laboratory.
• Collection, Smearing & staining of AFB samples and Oversee the activities of Mycobacteria
tuberculosis programme (DOTS)
