CSC’s Notus Suite is a major component of the Health Insurance System in Denmark. It was
developed by CSC in 1980’s on the mainframe platform. Notus has gone through several
upgrades and releases during the maintenance phase. Later, the Denmark Health Insurance
Regions & Municipalities (DHIR&M) requested Notus to be available 24x7 with a mixed of
Mainframe and client server environment. This new system is called Praksys. DHIR&M has
mandated that Praksys must be a portal solution by using the Cloud technology plus the
Business Intelligence (BI) capabilities.
