3. Key Responsibilities
Developed ETL programs using Informatica to implement the business requirements
Performed data manipulations using various Informatica Transformations like Filter, Expression,
Lookup (Connected and Un-Connected), Aggregate, Update Strategy, Normalizer, Joiner, Router,
Sorter and Union
Created mappings which involved SCD Type 2 scenario

Project Description
GE Capital is a leading consumer finance company in Australia and New Zealand, offering a range of services
including personal loans, credit cards, personal insurance and interest-free and promotional retail finance
The primary objective of this project is to capture different Customers, Policies, Claims, Products and financial
related data from multiple OLTP Systems, VSAM and Flat files. Extract Transform and Load this data into
Enterprise Data Warehouse using Informatica Power Center and generate various reports on a daily, weekly
monthly and yearly basis. These reports give details of the various products of GE Money like Insurance,
Personal Loans, Credit Cards and Auto Loans. The reports are used for identifying risk analysis for Business
development Managers
Key Responsibilities:
Monitoring and fixing production ETL failures.
Troubleshooting data inconsistencies by digging through the transformations in Informatica Power
Center 8x/9x tools.
Performing Admin tasks across production and pre-prod environments, e.g.: handling the Informatica
outages, installing Informatica hotfixes, enabling/disabling secondary nodes.
Identify gaps in end-to-end ETL processes and initiate improvements/bug fixes.
Deploying changes into pre-prod and production.
