I have numerous qualifications and qualities that are essential in the IT industry. I have
completed an apprenticeship with Pearson in Practice as an advanced ICT apprentice, an
apprenticeship that has given me a good level of knowledge in ICT and has given me the
skills in the industry that I will need to use in the future to achieve my potential. During my
time at Pearson in Practice and Royal Mail I have demonstrated an excellent attendance
record and commitment to my work.
I am a hard-working and cooperative person and the team based activities that I have

WORK EXPERIENCE:
Pearson in Practice, IT Apprentice Sept 2011 – Sep 2012
Duties here included actively taking part in practical sessions such as identifying hardware
components and the installation of RAM. I have also used Microsoft PowerPoint to prepare
2. and deliver presentations, Microsoft Word to produce technical help documents and Excel
spread sheets. I have worked with various operating systems – Windows 7, XP and Vista,
installing and configuring them along with Windows Server 2008.
Angard Staffing, Manual Data Entry Keyer Nov 2013 – Dec 2013
As a manual data entry keyer I went through an intensive first week of training in the use of
the MDEC keying software and afterwards it was my job responsibility to efficiently type
addresses correctly into the computer and identify addresses on post. This role let me use
computing techniques and reaction times to improve my skill typing on a computer. I was
able to monitor my own types per hour onto the computer and continuously improve.
HOBBIES AND INTERESTS:
I have a passion for technology and as such use it a lot in my spare time. I like to socialise
with my family and friends whenever I can. I am also into PC gaming.
