Each month we use Google Analytics and Google AdWord to track the success of our paid and organic key terms. We then use this to make suggestions for the next month.
1. October 2016 Paid Search Summary
Executive Summary
For Q3 we held spend consistently below $3,000 to keep our annual spend within target, while conserving funds for the keywords running with average-
high quality score. For October, we saw a decline in impressions, largely due to the Display campaigns reducing exposure month over month, an area
we describe as becoming less efficient below. Again, more contact us and video views occurred overall, while the bounce rate has stayed in the 69%
range since the amplification of the Industrial Sands terms. For Preferred Sands, direct source (63%) continues to lead traffic, followed in volume by
organic search (24%) and paid search (10%). Social is up to 1.15% of traffic. Industrial Sands saw lower spend due to moving terms to exact match, while
the Sand terms took up a large percentage of the budget and have been the focus of latest optimizations.DustPRO paid search drove 48% of traffic and
remains the leading driver of visits, followed by direct and organic has finally jumped up to 21%. According to organic keyword tracking, SEO for the
month saw consistent domain authority for Preferred, but as evidenced by the increase in traffic to DustPRO, an improvement in October.
Next Steps
The recent results on general sand buying terms indicate that some of them are driving high bounce rates, and we have moved to exact matching any
terms >85% bounce rate until the site is updated. We paused Display for Preferred Sands in an effort to reduce the high CPM for impressions.FloPRO
Display is also negligible and we'd like to discuss relevant expansions in the next month starting with Oil & Gas topics. Industrial Sands' bounce rate is
high and evidencing a need for updated landing page content. DustPRO remained relatively flat, and we continue to try to remain on the 1st page for
the general dust terms.

Preferred Sands AdWords
Preferred Sands impressions and clicks have seen a slight decline since the introduction of the general sand buying and Industrial Sands overhaul in
August, and an anomaly in month over month Display advertisement impression volume despite an increase in spend. This anomaly continued into
November so we have paused Display for Preferred Sands. Meanwhile, month over month, CTR increased from .75% to 1.82% on lower Display
campaign impressions. The recent results on general sand buying terms indicate that some of them are driving high bounce rates, and we have
moved to exact matching any terms >85% bounce rate until the site is updated. The geo-modified Campaign for Industrial Sands is seeing very little
activity in favor of the National campaign. As such, we also increased exposure and budget for brand terms to improve quality score. Top display
sites include oilprice.com and texas-drilling.com. FloPRO Display is also negligible and we've added relevant topic expansions.

DustPro AdWords
DustPRO brand terms have gone almost silent in terms of the traffic and impressions in paid search. However, the site is getting
picked up in organic as the #1-3 listings. The average CTR for Search increased from 1.42% to 1.68% with higher clicks month over
month. We continue to see some challenges with the general dust terms based on bounce rate, so continuous efforts are being
made to update the bids and the targeting. The spending for DustPRO this month was flat to September with a similar drop in
Display impressions. Oilprice.com and oil-price.net are the top display websites.

5. SEO Summary Results for Preferred Sands
In October the domain authority for Preferred Sands fell slightly to 31. Organic search remained flat to September.
Many branded and RCS terms rank nationally and we gain traction in the geo-modified keywords. Many of the
Preferred terms rank first on searches and also cover results 4-5 for DustPRO branded search queries. We expect to
see some improvements as we look to the mobile/responsive site updates. Google continues to ding us for
duplicate content and title/description tags based on the site structure, and much lower cross linking than
competitors like Fairmount, Momentive, USSilica.

In October, the domain authority for DustPRO regained 2 points to 20. Organic search also improved to 45%, likely as a
general uptick in traffic. However, referring visits increased 298%, increasing the overall visits by 25% compared to June.
DustPRO branded keywords are the largest drivers with an improvement in frac sand dust. Social remains an area of
improvement. Top inbound landing pages are home, FAQ and proppant.
