IBDW :
This is one of the line of Business which Metlife uses for selling insurance to
individual (end customer) as an individual business.
It is used to bring together information from multiple operational systems and
external sources into a single, integrated central database.
The IBDW will be the primary source used to load the downstream Operational
Data Stores (ODS) and Data Marts for Individual Business.
IDW :
Institutional business is a line of operation for MetLife
Data from multiple feeds converge into a single, central Institutional
Datawarehouse. Data from IDW is then populated in Marts
SDM:
It stores the data of producers and their sales information.
Premium amount calculation done in SDM which required for Micro Strategy
reporting. Micro Strategy can be Producer wise annual sales report, Financial year
wise producer sales report, Product wise annual sales report etc. Annuity systems,
GDC and EPI are the up streams for the SDM.
PDG:
IDSI involves in the process development of people like advisors, managers of
