With this enhancement
SAP removed the ability for posting jobs using eQuest integr
ation from Job Postings page to reduce the redundant job
posting options within SF Recruiting. Instead, use Recruiting
Posting to post jobs to external job boards.
Description
Automatically On – We can't configure new integrations with
eQuest anymore in Provisioning & won't see the Enable Job Board
Posting - eQuest switch in Provisioning and this switch is no more a
prerequisite to use the Set Up Job Board Options admin tool. As
part of this deprecation, the existing job postings will continue to
appear on the job boards, and we can remove the posted jobs using
the Job Postings page but we can't post a new job, update, or
repost an existing posting.

Employee Central Quick Actions Enhancements (native & mobile) Description Many of the above mentioned functionalities are constantly requested by customers as they will speed up everyday tasks. Deloitte’s PoV 'My Team Positions’ & Quick Actions Enhanced Quick Actions for ESS & MSS Quick Action Color Options Quick Actions in Mobile Apps Link to Additional Info / Demo More than 15 use cases such as ‘Change Addresses’, ‘Demotion’, ‘Change Job Relationships’ or ‘View Emergency Contacts’ are now supported in the Employee Central Quick Actions. Additionally, it is possible to create Quick Actions for Positions, adjust the color for the Quick Action Buttons and a new ‘My Team Positions’ page is introduced.

SAP SuccessFactors | 1H 2024 Deloitte 2024 4 Employee Central (2/3) Cross-Language Lookups in Action Search If the respective permission is granted, employees are allowed to do cross-language lookups, meaning that after non-English language employees enter the English search terms, any returned actions are displayed in their login languages. Description This functionality is especially useful in scenarios such as trainings, introduction sessions or hand-overs. Deloitte’s PoV Search Language Enhancement in Action Search Link to Additional Info / Demo New and Enhanced Rule-Scenarios for the several Modules After adding 20 new rule-scenarios (e.g. for Global Benefits or Payment Information) and adjusting the already existing 13 rule-scenarios, SAP pushes further to get rid of the ‘Basic’ rule scenario. The goal is to guide the administrators more and make the whole process of defining business rules less complex. Description We are curious whether SAP managed to maintain the degree of freedom in the Business Rule Framework as such. Additionally, the permissions of the incumbents of new ‘higher-level’ positions are adjusted. Description With those features, SAP is closing functionality gaps which were requested by the Customer Community. Deloitte’s PoV Enhancements in Centralized Services Compensation and Job Information Publish with Centralized Services Link to Additional Info / Demo Besides the removal of the limitation of the number of cross- portlet business rules, a new hard- coded system behavior to keep the start dates of Job-, Comp- and Job Relationships Info in sync, there are several behavior advancements in the way Compensation & Variable Pay data is published back to Employee Central. Enriched Validation Capabilities of the Compensation Structure Object Description Those new validation checks improve the experience to guide managers even more along predefined compensation structures. Furthermore, it is now possible to associate the Compensation Structure with one or more countries. If no country/region is selected, it is valid for all countries.

SAP SuccessFactors | 1H 2024 Deloitte 2024 5 Employee Central (3/3) Work Permit Information handling in Document Generation In order to remain consistent, Document Generation had to also adopt the processing of the Work Permit Information data as User- /Employment-based rather than Person-based. Due to this enhancement, there could be a change in the data shown in the Generated Document when compared to previous releases. Description Every customer who is using Document Generation for Work Permit Info needs to investigate into the relevant, existing templates. Deloitte’s PoV User Based Data Handling of Work Permit Information in Document Generation Link to Additional Info / Demo New features in the Configuration Transport Center (CTC) Besides the newly added possibility to add Picklists and Configuration UIs to a Transport Bundle, several adjustments in the structure of the group types were made so that ‘Workflow Groups’ can now be transported separately to other instances. Furthermore, a Search Functionality in the CTC is now available. Description As SAP pushes further to deprecate the Instance Synchronization Tool, the above mentioned enhancements are heavily needed. From 1H 2024 onwards, we can use the Work Tech Configuration page to set up new configurations or modify existing configurations. Description Automatically On – SAP is migrating configurations from Set up Interview Scheduling Outlook Integration to Work Tech Configuration. The Setup Interview Scheduling Outlook Integration will reach end of maintenance on May 17, 2024 and will be deleted on November 15, 2024. SAP SuccessFactors | 1H 2024 Deloitte 2024 11 Recruiting (deprecated functionalities) Deprecation of eQuest Job Posting Integration with Recruiting With this enhancement SAP removed the ability for posting jobs using eQuest integr ation from Job Postings page to reduce the redundant job posting options within SF Recruiting. Instead, use Recruiting Posting to post jobs to external job boards. Description Automatically On – We can't configure new integrations with eQuest anymore in Provisioning & won't see the Enable Job Board Posting - eQuest switch in Provisioning and this switch is no more a prerequisite to use the Set Up Job Board Options admin tool. As part of this deprecation, the existing job postings will continue to appear on the job boards, and we can remove the posted jobs using the Job Postings page but we can't post a new job, update, or repost an existing posting. Description Automatically On – This enhancement helps to avoid data duplication for new hires by displaying all the matching active and inactive employee profiles.
