The Worker's Safety Handbook for the Marine Industries provides guidelines for safely working at heights and around scaffolding. It advises workers to (1) always work within platforms and check tags on scaffolding before use, (2) wear safety harnesses secured to anchorage points when working at heights, and (3) not take shortcuts or modify scaffolding structures as they are strictly prohibited and unsafe.
