prescribing.
• In this process, a prescriber uses a software
or a hand held device.
• With patient’s consent a customer’s
information, medical history is collated.
This information is transmitted
electronically to a customer’s choice of
pharmacy.
• E-prescribing also encourages Refill. If a
customer/ patient runs out of this facility of
refill, then a pharmacist can send a request
of renewal to the physician’s/ doctor’s
office for approval.
