Writing stages - How to write an Effective Essay

2. Methods to Organize a Paragraph
A. Begin with a clear topic sentence.
B. Add supporting details related to the topic.
C. Choose a purposeful pattern of Organization:
Chronological order
Topical
3. Organizing the Main Body:
Group of related sentences about the particular topic.
Contains multiple body paragraph.
Aspects of Body Paragraph:
A clear topic sentence.
Specific evidence or supporting detail.
Examples.
Unity and coherence.
Transition between sentences and paraghraph.
A concluding sentence that ties the evidence or detail

4. Introduction:
An introduction is a beginning section which states the
purpose and goals of the following writing.
Start your introduction broad but not too
broad.
Try to avoid cliches.
Convince the reader that your essay is worth
reading.
Provide only helpful and relevant
information.
5. Conclusion:
When writing a paper, one always ends by
summing up their arguments and drawing a
conclusion about what they’ve been writing
about. The phrase in conclusion means
“finally to sum up” and is used to introduce
same final comments at the end of a speech
or piece of writing.
6. Strategies for Writing an effective conclusion
Synthesize, don’t summarize.
Include a provocative insight or quotation.
Call for some sort of action.
Point to border implications.
Give a sense of closure.
7. Proof- Reading:
After editing & correcting the text we have to give a
proper reading in order to confirm it before approval.
