1 STANDARD FORM (SF) 1449, SOLICITATION/CONTACT/ORDER FOR COMMERCIAL ITEMS
Standard Form (SF) 1449, Solicitation/Contact/Order for Commercial Items. An authorized
official of the firm shall sign the SF 1449 and all amendments and certifications requiring
original signature. Contractors shall complete blocks 12 (if applicable), 17a, 30a, 30b, and 30c
on page 1 of the SF 1449 and blocks 8, 15a, 15b, and 15c on page 1 of any applicable SF 30
amendments. In doing so, the contractor agrees to the contract terms and conditions as written in
the solicitation, amendments, and attachments. The SF 1449 shall include all applicable clause
fill-ins to include, but not limited to 52.209-7, 52.209-12, 52.212-3, and 252.229-7001.
