2. Adverb
An Adverb is a word that modifies(describe) a verb (he
sings loudly), an adjective (very tall), another adverb(ended
too quickly), or even a whole sentence(fortunately, I had
brought an umbrella).
It is part of speech which tells us how, where, when, in
which mammer and to which extent an action is perform in
the sentence.
3. Some of adverbs end with “ly” such as carefully,
gracefully, peacefully etc.
Some of adverbs are not ended with “ly” such as far,
most, less, very etc.
Examples;
. She sings beautifully.
.Tortoise walks very slowly.
.The assignment is almost completed.
.An Aeroplan is flying above the clouds.

5. 1.Adverb of Time:
Adverb of time tell us when an action happened, but also
for how long, and how often.
Examples;
1.I thought I could finish cleaning my house today.
2.Make sure you remind her to take the dried clothes later.
3.I saw this movie last year.
4.I have to leave now.
6. Adverb of place
Adverb of place tells us about the place where something
is done or happened in sentence.
Example;
1.The taxi is waiting outside.
2.She lay down and fell asleep.
3.He went downstairs and slept.
4.She stared up at the stars above.
7. Adverb of manner
Adverb of manner tells us about manner of how something
is done or happened in a sentence.
Example;
1.She sings beautifully.
2.They walked quickly to catch the bus.
3.Baby is crawling slowly.
4.The teacher spoke clearly.
8. Adverb of degree or quantity
Adverb of degree or quantity tells us about the level or
extent of something is done or happens in the sentence. It
is used before adjective or adverb.
Examples;
1.I am so excited.
2.Rose is very beautiful.
3.It was horribly painful.
4.She still have not fully recovered from his injury.
9. Adverb of number
Adverb of number shows number of action of the verb in a
sentence.
Example;
1.He saw me once.
2.I never eat breakfast.
3.I always work herd for exams.
4.I seldom watch TV.
