Usu was an orphan boy who was adopted and loved riddles. He did well in school despite difficulties affording university. Usu started a small business and helped support his community. A mysterious merchant came to the village offering a prize and wishes to anyone who could answer his riddles. Usu was the only one to solve all three riddles, winning 100 million naira. His wish was for the merchant to return home safely. The merchant gave Usu a magic ring before disappearing. Usu used the money to help develop the village and get an education, becoming a wise leader for the community.

answering any riddle that comes

villagers loved him very much
and wish that their children
could be like him.

One day usu was preparing to
go to school when he felt
something on his head and that

from JS1 - SS2 and finally now
he is in SS3 doing his External

university, but his parents
couldn't pay for his school fees
because they did not have
enough money to take him to

money and now had money to
start up other business whereby
people would be working for him
and he would be paying them
monthly. Although people
became envious of usu and was
wishing their children would be
like him and bring them fortune.

since he wasn't working again so
he would not forget it. So one
faithful day a geni in a form of a
humble merchant came to their
village and opened a shop where
he would start up his riddles
question and give a chance to
people who were smart to

their commitment although the
geni knew the village was a very
local and downgraded place. So
the merchant advertised that ''if
anyone could answer 3 of his
hard riddles would stand a
chance to win up to 100 million
naira plus 1 wish extra''. people
went to try their luck but failed,

luck knowing that he was the
only one in that there village that
could get a riddle very well he
was pleased and prayed that God
should help him and determined
to win so he could develop his
village and make it a better
place. it was like a contest

So the merchant asked him his
first question:
(1) ''I am yellow and bright, I am
often served but I can never be
eating. What am I?''... Usu
taught about it for a minute and
answered, ''A table tennis

(2) ''I am an object, i can shine
but not as the sun. what am

while people where clapping for
him. then the merchant advised
him saying: you have done well
no one of this village has ever
gotten to this extent but
remember if you fail now you
