hen 15-year-old Danielle McCloskey
started getting dolled up for R5’s concert
in Hershey, Pennsylvania, she had no idea
how magical her night was going to be. “I’m
completely head over heels for Ross, so I made a
sign to hold up at the show that said, ‘Ross, be my
New Year’s kiss!’” Danielle tells J-14. “But I never
thought it’d happen. I didn’t want to get my hopes
up.” However, to her surprise, Ross actually saw
her poster and four minutes after the clock struck
midnight, Dani’s wish came true! “Ross jumped
off the stage and he ended up standing right in
front of me — everyone was going crazy!” she
tells J-14. “I was completely freaking out and then
I heard him ask the crowd who made the sign.
My heart started beating really fast and everyone
pointed at me. Before I knew it, Ross leaned over
and kissed me on the lips! I couldn’t believe it!”

Danielle will never forget that swoon-worthy
moment — and it made an impact on Ross too
because he later tweeted about it, saying, “I hope
you liked it!” “The kiss sent butterflies through
my stomach,” Dani tells J-14. “It was my first real
kiss, and I don’t think any other one will live up to
it — it’ll be too ordinary. It was just so awesome
— I can’t stop thinking about it! It goes to show
that there’s always hope for fans.” So true!
“I’d definitely
date a fan!” Ross
confesses to J-14.
“I don’t think I will ever
get over my crush on
Ross,” Dani says.
“The poster took me two hours
to make!” Danielle tells J-14.
