5. THE GOLF ACADEMY OF AMERICA
The Golf Academy of America is a two-year accredited career college offering a
combined curriculum of golf education and business management. The Golf
Academy originated in San Diego in 1974, with it being most unique in the field of
education. It is dedicated to rigorous academic standards as well as excellence in
golf proficiency. The Academy offers a two-year program in Golf Complex
Operations and Management with areas of emphasis being Golf Professional and
General Golf Management. Upon graduation all students will be well rounded in
the essentials of the game of golf, proper techniques of golf, and business
operations related to golf complex management.
