videos,listeningtosongs,andexperiencingdifferenttraditionsbythe endof the weekwith85%
accuracy.
SelectMethods,Media,andMaterials:
Text,TV,Facebook,Yahoo,CD’s,YouTube,Games,Decorations
Utilize Material:
Before the beginningof the week,Iwill findthe videosandnewstoshare withthe class.I will make sure
that all electronicsourcesare working,andIwill alreadyhave the decorationsmade touse ondifferent
days. Use TV andYouTube to showvideosof customsandtraditionsof differentreligions.Use text,
Facebook,andYahoo to learnaboutthe newsof the traditions,whathashappenedrecently,orthe
historyof the tradition.Use CD’s to playsongsfromthese religionsandcountries.Alsouse decorations
and gamesalongwiththe CD’s in orderfor the studentstoget a “handson” feel forwhatthe traditions
are reallylike.
Require LearnerParticipation:
Everyone participate inthe games.Alsoeveryone picktheirfavorite holidayatthe endof the weekand
write a shortpaper whythenreadit infrontof the glass.
Evaluate andRevise:
Studentswill showtheirknowledgeof differenttraditionsof religionswithapaperanda small test.
