To Whom it May Concern:
Molly Horton was employed as a Global Marketing Summer Intern from June to August,
2013.
During her time at Covidien, Molly was responsible for working with cross-functional
teams (including R&D, Marketing Communications, Regulatory) to create marketing
collateral supporting launch of new projects/initiatives, perform competitive assessments
and develop targeted communications for global Sales and Marketing counterparts.
Molly worked with a sense of urgency and was able to effectively handle multiple
projects simultaneously. Not only was she productive, she was eager for additional
learning opportunities.
The position required an ability to understand the needs of our internal and external
customers and adapt accordingly. She had a very positive outlook and saw roadblocks as
challenges and not barriers. Additionally, her success in this role was dependent upon
being able to take a large amount of information and distill it into concise, useful pieces.
