5. Tools for SMM and Marketing communication
Social media marketing is the use of social media platforms to connect
with your audience to build your brand, increase sales, and drive
website traffic. This involves publishing great content on your social
media profiles, listening to and engaging your followers, analyzing your
results, and running social media advertisements.
The major social media platforms (at the moment) are Facebook,
Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, Pinterest, YouTube, and Snapchat.
There are also a range of social media management tools that help
businesses to get the most out of the social media platforms listed
above. For example, Buffer is a platform of social media management
tools, which can help you achieve success with your social media
marketing. Whether you want to build a brand or grow your business,
we want to help you succeed.
6. Buffer is an intuitive, streamlined social media management platform trusted by brands,
businesses, agencies, and individuals to help drive meaningful engagement and results on
social media. Buffer has a suite of products for publishing, engagement, analytics, and team
collaboration (Publish, Reply, and Analyze).
Hootsuite
Hootsuite is a social media management platform, created by Ryan Holmes in 2008. The
system's user interface takes the form of a dashboard, and supports social network
integrations for Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Pinterest, YouTube and TikTok.
Based in Vancouver, Hootsuite has close to 1,000 staff members in 13 locations, including
Toronto, London, Paris, Sydney, Bucharest, Milan, Rome and Mexico City. The company has
more than 16 million users in over 175 countries
7. Canva
Canva is an Australian global multi-national graphic design platform that is used to
create social media graphics and presentations. The app includes readymade
templates for users to use. Creating an account and using Canva is free, although
the majority of high quality elements will need to be paid for in order to download
one's project. The app also offers paid subscriptions such as Canva Pro and Canva
for Enterprise for additional functionality. In 2021, Canva launched a video editing
tool. Users can also pay for physical products to be printed and shipped. Examples
of products that can be made on Canva include yard signs, business cards, chore
charts, album art, ebooks, infographics, menus and invitations. The company has
announced it intends to compete with Google and Microsoft in the office software
category, with website and whiteboard products. On December 7, 2022, Canva
launched Magic Write, which is the platform’s AI-powered copywriting assistant.
On March 22, 2023, Cava announced its new Assistant tool, which makes
recommendations on graphics and styles that match the user's existing design.
8. Trello is a web-based tool that lets you create and manage tasks, projects, and workflows
using lists, notes, and boards. It was developed by Fog Creek Software in 2011 and sold to
Atlassian in 2017. You can set deadlines, assign tasks, add files, checklists, or automation,
and see the progress and status of your work.
What is Trello?
Trello is a collaboration tool that organizes your projects into boards. In one glance, Trello
tells you what's being worked on, who's working on what, and where something is in a
process.
Imagine a white board, filled with lists of sticky notes, with each note as a task for you and
your team. Now imagine that each of those sticky notes has photos, attachments from other
data sources like Jira or Salesforce, documents, and a place to comment and collaborate with
your teammates.
Now imagine that you can take that whiteboard anywhere you go on your smartphone, and
can access it from any computer through the web. That's Trello!
9. Hotjar is a product experience insights tool that gives you behavior
analytics and feedback data to help you empathize with and understand
your customers. You can use 'Observe' tools like Heatmaps and
Recordings to see what your users see, and our 'Ask' tools like Surveys
and a Feedback widget to bring your customers into the conversation.
Hotjar complements the data and insights you get from traditional product
and web analytics tools like Google Analytics or Mixpanel. It’s an industry-
leading and easy-to-use service that combines product experience
insights, user behavior analysis, and customer feedback to help you
connect the dots between what's happening on your site, and why it
happens.
