Yes.
Yep.
Yes, quite a bit.
10/10 Would watch again.
Viewing the music video caused a most paradisiac, euphoric, and sweet feeling spreading in my soul.
yep
Do you think our music video fit the song?(10 responses)
Yes
Yes
Yes
Yes.
Yep.
Mostly.
Driving and office scenes most definitely, moorland scenes less so.
It most certainly did
In a way yes
sure
What particularly stood out for you in our music video?(10 responses)
Phenomenal editing and camerawork and directing.
The colour-scheme.
Nothing particularly.
The editing of the video in time with the music.
Hidden 'Easter Eggs' In certain scenes, quality and appropriateness for music.
How much the visual media explicitly displayed on the screen various parts of, what could be
considered by most people, a routine of every day life. This caused the viewer to resonate with the
characters shown in the video, creating an emotional, psychological and maybe even spiritual
connection to the song, which could otherwise not be achieved without the use of this elegant, perfect
and phantasmagorical piece of craftsmanship.
The repetitiveness of the first three scences
I liked the colour pallet. Using faded colouring and a kind of neon look (the clock) feels very 80's,
matching the music.
The shift to man waking up and exploring the mysterious area
the repetition
How effective was our approach to focus mainly on story for our
music video?(10 responses)
Very effective.
Quite effective.
Mostly effective.
Quite effective, as it was quite an interesting music video.
Highly effective.
2. The emphasis of story in the music video was a rather unique and innovative approach to this
particular style of media. While most music videos tend to focus on a theme by means of repetitively
using abstract imagery to convey a particular idea, feeling, opinion, or perhaps simply for visual effect,
this music video struck me as being unique, original and memorable. The story was flawlessly
presented using various visual scenes, that were paired with the most important changes to the
music; such as tempo, pitch andf intonation shifts.
Very effective
I thought it was really effective. It shows a person mulling through life 'same shit different day' and
then he finally breaks free. It left me asking 'is he the driver?'.
Very as the song was open for interpretation
very effective
Do you think our music conformed to the 80's aesthetic of Kavinsky
and/or the electronic genre?(10 responses)
Yes.
Yes.
Yep.
Yes, especially with the static and scanlines.
Very well. Reminiscent of music video's from the period.
Visual after effects, such as phosphorescence and grid-layers reminiscent of low quality, 1970s-80s
television technology, gave an strong feeling for the temporal era of the 1980s. Furthermore, various
tropes, such as side-on shots of automotive, petrol-fired civilian vehicles travelling at a state of
constant linear velocity along specially constructed asphalt surfaces designed for such use.
Yes
Definitely, especially the voiceover and the electronic aspect.
The scanlines and opening vhs effects was very 80's
a bit

I seemed a bit long but maybe that's because the music didn't go anywhere if that makes sense, the
music stayed the same.
Was there anything necessary that could have been added to our
music video?(10 responses)
More Kavinsky.
More car scenes.
Probably.
/
Nothing of note
It was missing over-the-top green screen effects, particle effects and violent camera shaking.
3. Nope
Maybe some quick flashing jump cuts would be cool to emphasise how exciting it is to break free.
could have featured more of the artist
could have been more 80's if that was the goal
