 What discourse does?
Discourse defines what can we be said. It is the
context in which a culture’s communication,
meaning production and interpretation occur. It is
the terrain of thought and expression

within a larger cultural text

It a male dominated industry, games created for women are
often designed by men. Games’ gender binary, chess argues is
itself a product of design often at odds with actual players.

of women in video games makes it hard
for female gamers to make their
presence known online in the gaming
world.

field more than women
 If there were more women in this field,
can these biases be reduced?
 It may also happen that, the game
which seems patriarchal for one
country, may not be seem as the same
in another country….
