Provides information and prepares reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information; responds
to requests. Maintains quality service by monitoring standards and advises supervisor of potential problems.
Resolves complaints and maintains quality service. Prepares work to be processed by gathering, sorting,
organizing, and recording data, information, and documents.
Advises customers on substitution or modification of parts when identical replacements are not available.
Measures parts, uses precision measuring instruments, in order to determine whether similar parts may be
machined to required sizes. Helps customers by repairing parts or equipment. Discusses use and features of
various parts, based on knowledge of machines or equipment to customers. Demonstrate equipment to
customers and explain functioning of equipment. Determines replacement parts required, according to
inspections of old parts, customer requests, or customers' descriptions of malfunctions. Responds to and
submits all orders via email, fax, phone and online resources. Notifies correct personnel of any changes in
availability of special order parts due to lack of inventory or production through the manufacturer and
provides an alternate solution.
Ensures all warranty work is labeled properly, all forms and documents filled out as instructed and all parts
are in original packaging and sorted using a method of date or repair order number.
