Summary of Qualifications
 I have more than 25 years experience in the areas of marketing, public relations, business
development, communications and consulting with large corporations that include Hewlett-
Packard, Celestica and Anheuser-Busch, as well as Northern Colorado businesses such as
Kennedy and Coe, The Northern Colorado Business Report, the Greeley Stampede, North
Colorado Medical Center, King Soopers and Moody’s American Grill.
 I have a proven track record of successful internal and external programs, public relations,
business development, event planning and enhancements for the above organizations.
I am an energetic and dependable leader with strong communication skills, focus to details, able
to work in a fast paced environment and adapt quickly and respond effectively to change. I also

Professional Experience
June 2015-Present: Westside Convenience and Carwash: Greeley, CO.
Sales Associate - General duties of cashering, inventory management, ordering of products as well as
an additional focus of developing new business for the two entities.
July 2014 – June 2015: Moody’s American Grill & 1908 Speakeasy: Greeley, CO.
General Manager –Responsible for operations of restaurant including management and hiring of
employees, guest relations, scheduling, billings and payments, ordering of products as well as advertising
and marketing of the two entities. Increased employee satisfaction and increased sales by 6% over the
11 month period.
August 2011 – June 2014: King Soopers: Northern Colorado
Service Manager/Bakery Manager/Training Lead -Providing leadership and guidance for front end
associates, bakery personnel and food safety and customer service trainings for over 900 employees.
Developed relationships with outer departments, store management as well as district management
team. Responsible for numerous leadership roles to enact change for more efficient processes with great
success. Successfully turned around stores that had struggled in front end and bakery department
programs. Averaged an increase in customer satisfaction scores by 5-8% and sales increases on average
of 15-18%.

March 2010 – August 2011: Weiss Jewelers: Greeley, CO.
Business Development/Sales Associate - Provided the leadership in creating new Weiss Jewelers
web site, developed an overall marketing strategy that included electronic and print media, developed a
company recognition program along with retail sales for the jewelry store business.
July 2009 – October 2009: M5 Consulting: Greeley, CO
Marketing and Business Development - Startup consulting business responsibilities included
developing all marketing collateral material, design and implementation of company website and the
development of company sales strategy. In addition, responsible for business development, organization
and transportation of biodiesel product as well as development of partnerships with investment firms and
banks. The entire focus of the company changed dramatically over the course of four months and my
role was no longer required.
October 2005 – June 2009: Kennedy and Coe: Greeley, CO.
Marketing and Business Development - Responsible for the development of business in the Northern
Colorado marketplace for a top 100 accounting firm. Developed business in the industry groups of
agriculture, medical, banking, manufacturing as well as wealth creation. Generated over $1 million in
revenue for the firm in three and a half years.
June 2003 – October 2005: The Northern Colorado Business Report: Fort Collins, CO.
Account Executive - Generated over $350,000 in advertising revenue for the publication in two and
half years focused in the industries of the accounting, legal and professional services fields.
August 2002 – May 2003: Rocky Mountain Prostate Center: Greeley, CO.
Director of Marketing and Business Development - Mobile urology business that covered 12 states.
Responsible for communication with urologists and their staff to market, schedule and expand the
business product. Company was sold to large corporation and position was eliminated.
November 2000 – October 2003: Ascent Marketing Consultants: Greeley, CO.
Entrepreneur - Firm focused on marketing strategies, image campaigns, communications and public
relations. Clients included Anheuser-Busch, Hewlett-Packard, North Colorado Medical Center, The
Greeley Stampede, Cache Bank and Trust, Professional Finance and Sears Development and Investments.
May 1997 – October 2000: Celestica Colorado: Fort Collins, CO.
Communications and Public Relations Manager - Directed all governmental affairs programs,
internal and external communication programs, managed a weekly company publication, and coordinated
all media relations. Created and defined a college internship program for on site workers, created an
internal award and recognition program and developed a volunteer program for the community.
Leadership role as the point person for negotiations with the City of Fort Collins on Celestica’s new
building, initiated and received grants for the company from the City of Fort Collins and the State of
Colorado in excess of $1.2 million.

Communications and Public Relations Manager - Leadership position for all internal and external
communications for the site. Management and writing of weekly company publication, media relations
and management of volunteer programs with a strong focus on K-12 and higher education efforts.
Created and produced very successful internal rewards and recognition program; Chairperson for the 50th
Anniversary of Hewlett-Packard statewide celebration held at the Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs,
Colorado with over 40,000 people in attendance. Managed employees and worked with vendors on a
regular basis as well as coordinated communications activity with the marketing groups for new product
releases.

Community Involvement
April 2015-Present: Member of the Greeley Art Commision. Group of community members appointed
by the Greeley City Council to develop and maintain art programs throughout the Greeley community.
November 2008 – July 2010: Greeley Chamber of Commerce Legislative and Business Action
Committee. This group helps set policy for the chamber.
December 2008 – November 2009: Co-chair of the communications group for the Greeley School
District 6 Blue Ribbon Panel Committee. A group of community leaders working with the school district
leadership team on a mill levy ballot issue for November 2009.
January 2000 – October 2009: American Cancer Society corporate committee for the organizations’
Cattle Baron’s Ball and Relay for Life fundraising events. I have been part of the effort to generate over
$8 million in 10 years to the American Cancer Society Great West Division.
February 1997 – October 2000: Member of the Fort Collins Chamber of Commerce Board of
Directors and member of the finance committee.
January 1994 – December 1994: State of Colorado School to Career Task Force. Appointed by
Governor Roy Romer to take a leadership role in defining and coordinating school to career education
programs. With a timeline of 12 months to do the evaluation of state programs and matching them with
the standards issued by the federal government, our group’s efforts were completed in six months. This
resulted in the State of Colorado receiving over $5.5 million for program implementation.
September 1990 – September 1995: The Greeley Stampede Director of Marketing. A year around
volunteer position for the two-week family festival. Coordinated all marketing and media materials for
professional rodeo, national concert tours, carnival and all associated events on grounds before and
during the event. Over 350,000 people attend the event each year and were able to increase revenues
by 396% over four years.
September 1995-Present: The Greeley Stampede. Active volunteer involved in assisting in public
relations, hospitality, event coordination, volunteer managment and whatever is needed to make this
event a continued success.
January 1990 – December 1990: University of Northern Colorado co-chair for their Second Century
Fundraising Campaign, which generated over $2.5 million for the College of Arts and Sciences.
March 1990 – September 1993: Colorado State Council on Vocational Education chairperson.
Facilitated the council over a three year period working with high school vocational education programs
and the community colleges throughout Colorado. Programs included the transition from high school
vocational programs to community colleges as well as defining a path into the work force or a university
program for students. I was named to a national panel that wrote an integration paper regarding
coordination of work for state councils that was later adopted by the House and Senate Education
committees.
June 1989 – August 1996: Greeley Chamber of Commerce School Works Committee. Leadership role
in creating and developing the program and partnerships with seven school districts and over 100
businesses in Weld County. Many of these partnerships still exist today.
