UP CLOSE: A LOOK AT 2016 INDUSTRY PERSON OF THE YEAR JOSH ROSENBERG
(CHICAGO) March XX, 2016 – Joshua J. Rosenberg, President and CEO of Accent Food Services, was recently
announced as NAMA’s Industry Person of the Year as part of the association’s 2016 Industry Awards. Rosenberg
will be presented with his award on April 13 at the 2016 NAMA OneShow in Chicago.
The NAMA Industry Person of the Year Award recognizes an individual who has consistently exemplified the
highest standards of professional excellence throughout his or her career in the refreshment services industry, has
been active in leadership roles, and has been an inspiration to others.
Since 2015, Josh has served as President and CEO of Accent Food Services, where he leads a team of more
than 250 employees, with a focus on innovation, customer engagementand a dynamic corporate culture. Under
his leadership, the company has delivered $18 million in new sales, maintains a 97% customer retention rate and
has expanded to more than 300 micro markets. A 21-year veteran of the industry, Josh began his career as a
merchandiser at Coca-Cola in 1995. Through his passion for vending and a vision for integrating technology, he
grew to lead the development of Coca-Cola’s North America vending sales strategy as Vice President of National
Vending Sales, before coming to Accent Foods.
Dedicated to serving the industry on a broader scale, Josh was elected to NAMA’s Board of Directors in 2015. He
is heavily involved in advocacy efforts, participating in NAMA’s DC Fly-In, where he’ll serve as a Fly-In Captain in
2016, and representing the industry in meetings with elected officials on Capitol Hill and in the Texas legislature.
An innovator working to advance the industry, Josh was a member ofthe task force instrumental in developing
NAMA’s inaugural Executive Forum, which took place in February in Silicon Valley.
Josh was recognized as one of Automatic Merchandiser’s 2015 Pros to Know and he currently sits on the board of
Unified Strategies Group and serves as an advisory board member for USConnect. In his free time, he coaches
youth baseball and basketball. Josh resides in Austin, Texas with his wife Rebecca and their 3 children. He is a
graduate of Madison University with a degree in Marketing.
