International Trade Fair for Furniture, Equipment and Accessories will be held from September 10 to 14, at Romexpo Exhibition Centre, and will be organized by ROMEXPO and and co-organized by Romanian Furniture Manufacturers’ Association. Romanian Chambers of Commerce and Industry and EUROEXPO.

2. BIFE – SIM is the largest fair in Romania dedicated to furniture and wood products, furniture fittings, interior
decorations, machinery and equipment for logging and wood processing. The trade fair is organized by
ROMEXPO in partnership with The Romanian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, APMR – Romanian Furniture
Manufacturers‘ Association and Euroexpo Trade Fairs.
Dedicated to trade specialists and general public, BIFE – SIM challenges the visitors to choose between the
classic and contemporary, between the emotion created by the traditional interiors and the comfort of the
modern and functional design interiors.
BIFE – SIM is the platform that represents best the manner in which the manufacturers and distribuitors adjust
their furniture offer, in response to the change in the buying attitude of consumers. This buying behavior is
nowdays driven by color, functionality and, last but not least, price quality ratio – all features that have became
mandatory when buying furniture.

5. • The conference “Design is pure lust”, organized during two days,
gathered Romanian architects, designers and university teachers
that held inspiring and challenging presentations.
• Avant-Garde Exhibition – powered by PARAMETRICA DIGI FAB
SCHOOL. This project meant 32 sqm of creative ideas that present
the Romanian design in accordance with the latest technological
and conceptual trends.
• Awards Ceremony for the National Product Design Competition. For
the 11th year in a row, this competition puts in the spotlight daring
works and projects of young Romanian designers.
• Furniture Forum, an event that approached the following topics:
o New ways to stimulate and support Romanian furniture export
o Measures to protect domestic resources of timber
o Solutions for facilitating the access to European Funds in the
furniture industry
o Overview of the Romanian furniture industry from foreign
perspectives.
• “Designers say” Corner, where people could receive free tips for
decorating their houses.
• Innovation Tour carried the visitors into the world of most advanced
woodworking systems.
