This portfolio contains a selection of Miguel Mollá's university projects from 2008 to present. It includes architecture projects such as a student residence, archeological center, nature research center, and dance center. His final thesis project proposed revitalizing a neighborhood in Valencia through urban design, an "urban device," and area design. The portfolio also outlines Miguel's skills, education, work experience at COS stores, and involvement in founding an online publication.
3. This small portfolio contains a selected compilation
of my university studio projects and screenprints of
the online publication I co-directed with some other
partners as a students.
Some of the projects are from 2008 and gradually get
to nowadays. I thought about changing graphism or
add some improvements I believed they need and I
can see now, after some years growing as a student.
Finally, I decided to leave everything the way it was
when it was designed and evaluated. At the end,
they are the evolution of a student that need to be
appreciated.

7. Personal Statement
Architect and COS floor manager.
I have been living COS spaces as well as the values and
COS standards since five years ago.
I am trained not only in architecture but also in
photography and graphic design, being I, alongside other
students, founder and editor of an online publication. I
love architecture, design, graphic design, photography and
fashion, passions that my perfect job should have.
Although I don’t have as much experience as it is asked, I
would not want to miss the chance to send my application
and hear what you think about my work.
Interests
Since I first started studying architecture I knew I was in
the right place. After 5 years, I started working for COS.
I am interested not only in architecture and fashion but
also in photography, graphic and product design. That’s
why I tried training myself in those fields at the university
and also I have been autodidactic in some fields. I love
learning and challenges.
I consider myself a proactive person, enthusiastic, a team
player and an energetic person, always trying to help and
learn. I have enjoyed every single job that I have been part
of and I have tried to learn and grow from each one of
them, and that is a thing I will keep doing, no matter the
position or the job.
For me, this position is like a project of future. A way of
learning from zero COS’ architecture standards, trying to
help as much as possible with my experience working in
different COS store.

objective. Office part, exposition and investigation facilities.
37. Faculdade de Arquitetura do Porto Project.
Dance School in Matosinhos. Student areas, dancer’s pratice classrooms, theoric
classrooms, leisure spaces , administrative part and concert hall/auditorium.
43. Final Thesis project englobing the revitalization of San Isidro’s neighbourhood
and the design of a prototype that helps activating both new
and existent space as a link.
In order of appearance:
a- New urban design
b- Urban Device
c- Area design
d- Facility building design
48. URBAN
DEVICE
The main idea for activating the new urban
landscape generated by the urban proposal was
to create an urban device.
A tool thought in order to make the
neighbourgs gather around different cultural
activities from the begging.
Starting with its assembly, the users are capable
of building its own urban device, due to its
pliable design. Depending on wich elements
they choose, the final result can differ from a
shadow, a bookshop, a bar, etc.
All the chosen material in this project
are always selected by its durability, its
ergonomics and its sustainability
