3. Model based Management System (MBMS)
The DSS components are implemented in each hospital as below. And all the hospitals
within the chain are interconnected via Intranet.
1. Hospital DBMS
SQL based database with front end user interface such as Eutech Cybernetic-
Copernicus.
The database will be governed by a Database Administrator to manage
concurrency control, recovery, security and access rights.
Read/Write access to the staff members of A&E, Inpatient, Outpatient,
Internal departments, Operation theatres, Pharmacy and Inventory.

Read access to Finance dept, HR dept, Health care providers and other
internal offices.
Modify/ Read/Write access only to the department heads.
2. KBMS

daily routines from the DBMS and inputs from experts such as senior doctors and
surgeons. Also the information keeps updating from verified external sources such as
pharmaceutical companies, health regulators and government agencies.
3. MBMS
The MBMS of the hospital chains functions with the combination of its DBMS and
KBMS so that best practices in the Industry is embedded in the Hospital
Management System for better patient treatment with full tracing capabilities of the
whole patient medical history , Standardized processes covering end-to-end basic
functions such as: Patient Administration (admission, ward management, discharge,
billing, payment), Central automated processes for purchasing and stock
