What is the relationship between the school heads core skills , their
management efficiency and school performance?

1.What is the school heads competence in the DepEd’s IPCRF
core skills?
2.What is the school heads level of management efficiency?
3.What is the schools’ performance?
4.What is the profile of school heads in terms of sex, length of
service as administrator, Educational Attainment; and
Number of Seminars/Trainings on Leadership and

Is there a significant relationship between the school heads competence in
the DepEd’s IPCRF core skills and the school performance?
Generally, the school heads were very competent in the DepEd’s
IPCRF core skills. They were very efficient in the management of
schools with a satisfactory school performance. This means that,
school heads who are more competent in DepEd’s Core Skills are
more efficient in their management.
Moreover, the school heads competence in DepEd’s IPCRF Core
skills was correlated to the school performance in the higher level of
pupils’ academic performance (very satisfactory and outstanding).
This means that school heads who are more competent in the
DepEd’s IPCRF core skills have more pupils with higher level of
academics performance.
CONCLUSIONS
RECOMMENDATIONS
The recommendations found here were deemed appropriate
by the researcher.
1. The school heads of West District of Dipolog City must
attend seminars/trainings of the DEPED’s IPCRF core
competencies to enhance their leadership and management
skills.
2. The school heads of West District of Dipolog City must
instruct teachers to do remediation or intervention program to
raise their respective school’s performance.
3. The teachers must do action research that will centered on
the improving the academic performance of the pupils.

  • 2. MAIN PROBLEM: What is the relationship between the school heads core skills , their management efficiency and school performance? SUB-PROBLEMS: 1.What is the school heads competence in the DepEd’s IPCRF core skills? 2.What is the school heads level of management efficiency? 3.What is the schools’ performance? 4.What is the profile of school heads in terms of sex, length of service as administrator, Educational Attainment; and Number of Seminars/Trainings on Leadership and management? STATEMENT OF THE PROBLEM

FINDINGS PROFILE FREQUENCY FINDINGS Sex Male = 3 Female = 3 50% were male and 50% were female Length Of Service 10 yrs below = 2 11-20 yrs = 2 21-30 yrs = 1 31 yrs above = 1 Most school heads had a length of service of 10 years below and 11-20 years. Educational Attainment With MA Units = 3 MA Holder = 2 With Doctoral = 1 Most of the school heads had MA units. No. of Seminars Attended 1-2 = 1 3-4 = 1 5 or more = 4 Most of the school heads had 5 or more trainings on leadership and management

FINDINGS SCHOOL PERFORMANCE ON LEARNING PROGRESS DECISION INTERPRETATION FINDINGS Did Not Meet Expectations (74% below) Not Significant - There is a significant relationship between the school heads competence in the DepEd’s IPCRF core skills and the school performance Fairly Satisfactory (75%-79%) Not Significant - Satisfactory (80%-84%) Not Significant - Very Satisfactory (85-89%) Significant very competent-more pupils with VS Performance Outstanding (90%-100%) Significant very competent-more pupils with O Performance Is there a significant relationship between the school heads competence in the DepEd’s IPCRF core skills and the school performance?
  • 10. Generally, the school heads were very competent in the DepEd’s IPCRF core skills. They were very efficient in the management of schools with a satisfactory school performance. This means that, school heads who are more competent in DepEd’s Core Skills are more efficient in their management. Moreover, the school heads competence in DepEd’s IPCRF Core skills was correlated to the school performance in the higher level of pupils’ academic performance (very satisfactory and outstanding). This means that school heads who are more competent in the DepEd’s IPCRF core skills have more pupils with higher level of academics performance. CONCLUSIONS
  • 11. RECOMMENDATIONS The recommendations found here were deemed appropriate by the researcher. 1. The school heads of West District of Dipolog City must attend seminars/trainings of the DEPED’s IPCRF core competencies to enhance their leadership and management skills. 2. The school heads of West District of Dipolog City must instruct teachers to do remediation or intervention program to raise their respective school’s performance. 3. The teachers must do action research that will centered on the improving the academic performance of the pupils.
