What is a mission statement?
• A mission statement means the company fully understands their
reason for being as well as what the company values
Setting company goals using SMART goals
What does SMART goals stand for?
SMART
• S- stands for specific
• M- stands for measurable
• A- stands for achievable
• R- stands for relevant
• T- stands for time based
Doing a SWOT analysis
Strengths are things a company does well
inside the four walls of their business.
Weakness should be viewed from inside
the four walls of the business but will focus
on things an organization does not do well.
Opportunities are viewed external to an
organization and are things an organization
is doing but want to do better.
Threats are viewed external to the
organization and are things an organization
has no control over but still impacts them.
Using all these steps will help you with
your marketing and strategic planning
process.
