1. To Whom It May Concern:
It gives me great pleasure to recommend Michael Weber for any future work opportunities, as I am
confident that Michael possesses the skills necessary to excel in any task that he faces.
In the summer of 2016, Michael pursued an internship with the Bristol Blues, a summer collegiate
baseball team located in Bristol, CT, in which I am an owner. From May to August, Michael served as
an invaluable asset to our public relations and marketing departments. I truly enjoyed my time having
Michael in the Blues organization, and came to know him as an indispensable asset to any team. He is
dependable, honest, and incredibly hard working. Beyond that, Michael’s personable nature helped forge
positive relationships with many of our supporters in his role.
Michael was in charge of managing our social media sites, as well as developing and publishing our
programs for each game, managing media relations, press box operations, planning public events and
team appearances, writing game recaps, and much more. Through his creative wit and ability to connect
with our fan’s main demographics, he increased our social media traffic by over 137% while helping
lead us to all-time high attendance numbers.
Beyond his position’s responsibilities, he lent a hand in many other areas that went far beyond what was
asked of him. Whether it was picking up markers before a game or running a concessions stand when
nobody was available to do so, Michael could always be counted on. He took on each task without
question or complaint, doing everything possible for the betterment of the organization as a whole.
Along with Michael’s undeniable talent, he has been an absolute joy to work with. He managed to
maintain a positive atmosphere among our front office staff even under the most difficult of times. His
ability to lead others also helped make his fellow front office interns work as a coordinated team at all
times.
Without a doubt, I confidently recommend Michael to join your team. As a knowledgeable and
dedicated employee with a very personable nature, I know that he will be a very beneficial addition to
your organization.
I would be happy to discuss Michael’s candidacy for any internship or position. Please contact me at
