I am writing to recommend Drew DeVries as a candidate for a position with your organization. Drew
served as a media and community relations intern for the Grand Rapids Rampage throughout the
2008 Arena Football League season. His service was invaluable throughout the year, and he played a
major part in helping my department run smoothly.
During his internship, Drew performed a variety of tasks including overseeing our kids club “Blitz
Kidz,” appearing at several community outings with our players and Rage Dance Team members,
and assisting with Rampage Press Box operations on gamedays. Drew also updated the Rampage
Web site throughout the year and helped edit team releases and prepare weekly game notes.
Drew’s reliability allowed me to focus on my tasks without worrying about the little things
surrounding a successful season. His level of professionalism also lead me to believe that he will be
successful in any venture as he advances in his young career.
