I was initially impressed with Michelle’s enthusiasm, communication skills, and professional demeanor
when I hired her four years ago. During the two years Michelle worked for GateWay, she consistently
demonstrated all of these qualities and more, and I heartily endorse her!
Michelle is reliable, dedicated, and eternally upbeat. Her ability to serve people with disabilities is
astonishing! Throughout the two years that Michelle worked for GateWay, she was very flexible and eager
to take on new challenges. She assisted in each position we have at GateWay including: Direct care
staff, Training instructor, Program Coordinator and Assistant. She handled each position with poise and
the passion she showed to the participants in our programs was admirable!
When working with the participants of our programs, Michelle went over and above her job
responsibilities. She exhausted every avenue to confirm the participants achieved their highest level of
independence. Most times, Michelle was requested by the participants; everyone wanted Michelle to
work with them. Her ability to calm angry or frustrated participants is unparalleled, and it is because of her
excellence in this area that I repeatedly asked her to assist with other departments and positions.
