 Starting automatic feed of solid and liquid materials through equipment units, including
heating and cooling vessels, mixing tanks, lamella clarifiers, ion exchange beds, and filter
presses.
 Operate and control various pumping systems, pH controls, and filtration equipment
 Set up and adjust indicating and controlling devices, for example gas analyzers, probes,
temperature and flow controlling devices, or gauging instruments to facilitate simultane-
ous analysis and control of process conditions
 Draw samples of product at specified stages of operation and perform jar testing for tem-
