Control Room Operator Trainee
Control Room Trainee for the current Alkylation unit. Process includes liquid phase reactors for the chemical
reaction of liquid Benzene with the gas of Ethylene to create Styrene. Once training is complete, Control Room
Trainee of Styrene Refining begins.
Completed an 87 day turnaround for a $66 million upgrade to the Texas City site; Oversaw the utilities unit
(worked a 14-on/2-off 12-hour shift schedule until turnaround was completed)
Duties included sampling of the process unit, readings, and isolation of the equipment via L.O.T.O system in
preparation for maintenance; currently in training to qualify in other units
