sororities more successfully and exceeded my goal of 15% on Winter
17/18 bus with 22%”
- Use Facebook, Instagram, and Snapchat to connect to students
- Use Facebook Ads and Boost posts
- Anyone who liked a facebook or Instagram post was contacted about
the trips. Got multiple sign ups from instagram messages

- Each intern set personal goals regarding recruitment numbers
- Regular meetings during the month-long internship to determine if
interns were meeting goals (coffee dates)
- Each intern targeted a specific demographic that they had access to
- Intern empowerment – gave them gift cards so they could take
students out on coffee dates
- Diversity of intern pool lead to diverse group of students who walked
up to the table – a wide range of interests, social groups, and club
involvement represented

● Birthright Team Retreat
● Attend a weekly team meeting that consists of reading the Birthright Bliss Bucket, individual check-
ins, Israel Education led by one of the interns, Israel update by IACT
● Weekly 1 on 1 meeting with IACT to talk about life, their role, professional development, their
relationship with Israel, and what is next in their Jewish journey
● Recruit 5 participants for the Winter trip
● 5-8 Coffee Date relationships built throughout the semester
● Attend a Shabbat experience either at Hillel or hosting their own
● Attend all Birthright related events to support their team
● Weekly anecdotes on social media about their #BlueHenBirthrightIsrael experience

22. GREEK Outreach
- Large group coffee dates for groups of fraternity brothers/sorority
sisters
- Had interns from AEPi and DPhiE, the most heavily Jewish Fraternity
and Sorority on campus
○ Had them wear their letters during tabling
○ They made presentations to their Greek chapters
