The document provides an overview of the IACT Presentation for Winter 2017-2018 at the University of Colorado Boulder. It includes sections on registration breakdowns, intern roles, student spotlights, pre-trip programming goals for the next semester including social media usage, and impact measurements. The presentation highlights successes in outreach efforts through tabling, campus organizations, fraternities, and word of mouth as well as challenges in permitting and transitions. Student testimonials showcase opportunities for Jewish community and exploration.

One alumni brought 8 people to sign up the first day of BR registration who are greek.
Samson Breitbart is also on the trip
Student issue with union, forgot to sign in and at the end of the semester had table permit taken away
More drama with interns than usual. One of the best recruiters added a lot of aggression and issues with the team, but Lindsay was hesitant to fire her given the connections she has to the Boulder community and worry over backlash.
Photo at the “Be Involved Fair”. Lindsay reserved 2 tables, one for Hillel and one for Birthright and made them the biggest presence at the fair. We able to tag team. Hillel gave away pint glasses and Birthright gave away koozies.
Jonathan: South African Jew. BR Alumni
From Texas. In Middle School went to a lot of Jewish events with friends and felt more involved. Converted before her Bat Mitzvah.
Studying art history. Identifies as Jewish but wasn’t particularly involved. Her mom and grandmother are Jewish converts and raised her, but involvement in temple tapered off as Baylee got older.
Post-Trip Programming: 2 Onward Spots available for BICAP bus participants. BICEP will subsidize the trip. This is the first year CU has been selected for BICEP.
Working with AEPi Nationals to transform CU chapter. Also continuing partnership with ZBT as follow up from VFI trip
Nofar is the Israel Fellow for all of the Colorado Campuses (3 sites—made it difficult). She is staffing the CU BR Bus and will be much more involved in the process next semester
Ramat HaNegev is the Denver sister city and Boulder is working to make it a sister city as well. Nabulus is currently one of Boulder's official 7 sister cities—the Jewish community fought against this for years and it was recently just passed.
Ramat HaNegev delegation talked about what it’s like to be young and living in the Negev. This was a federation program from Denver that Lindsay brought to Boulder. It was really well received and also helped on a background political level with the Boulder/Denver Jewish community.
At Orientation: had participants write down anonymous questions on index cards and read/answered them out on the group.
Last year a BR Alumni student became a Gift of Life Coordinator, organized swabbing on campus with Hillel and became a donor this summer.
Any person who liked a social media post was immediately followed up with by an intern or Lindsay regardless of where they were in the registration process (including if they haven’t signed up at all)
Depth and numbers of participants has drastically increased. (get number?)
Sigma AEPi, which is a new Jewish sorority, was founded by primarily BR Alumni.
