Having provided patient care throughout my career at Guthrie Health, my goal is to build
on those skills and transition into a nontraditional leadership role. In my current
assignment, I have been an EPIC superuser and unofficial IT resource person. My
Masters in Nurse Informatics will be complete in October 2015.

Assisted DNER members in annual skills lab training, in servicing at bedside on EPIC
functions and Niceware device, updating bed functionality, chart audits related to fall
risks, literature review related to fall risks, collating data from orientation program and
preparing visuals for nursing celebrations.
Dialysis Staff/Charge Nurse/ Acute Dialysis Nurse 1997-3/15
Serves as a charge nurse 2010-2013, shifting my focus to acute dialysis as of January
2014. Proficient in chronic hemodialysis, acute hemodialysis and apheresis procedures.
Accomplishments:
Co-investigator of a nursing evidenced-based practice study comparing the
efficacy of dressings on central venous catheter exit sites.
Participated in the ICU Critical Care Course, teaching renal section annually for
approximately 7 years.
Actively participated in rollouts of Biopatch dressing and TEGO connectors renal
care innovations. The Biopatch dressing is now used hospital wide.
