I have worked on various product design and process design projects both in a Management role (12
years) and Engineering design role (5 years). As a result of my experience and opportunities I have
the skills to adapt to the workshop, product development, coaching, management, development and
use of quality processes. I have worked with the production/operations staff in New Zealand and
overseas. I have also coordinated projects and equipment builds with contractors both in New
Zealand and Overseas.
Management
• Product Development Manager for the 950 mechanical team. I current manage 11 direct reports
and one sub team of 7 people.

have ranged from Student to Senior Engineering level.

Poke Yoke (fool proofing of workstations).

• Development of Technical manuals and Maintenance tasks for calibration, and maintenance.

Lean Manufacturing & Process Improvement

(Liverpool) to discuss experiences with our core products.
• May – December 2010. Four visits to Mexico to implement manufacturing lines two manufacturing
processes.
• February 2010 Visited Medical Device & Manufacturing Show in Los Angeles. Presented the
proposals for manufacturing lines to the Mexico team.
• December 2006. Visited Sahm, and Muller to trial a film slitting and winding line. Visited Gillard to
discuss tube extrusion cutter specification.
