-Object receives the action.
Example:
-I read books. (“I” is the subject).
-I read books. (“Books” is the object as it is
receiving the action).
3. Object Pronouns are used instead of nouns, usually
because we already know what the object is. It makes
the sentence easier to read and understand and avoids
repetition. We normally use object pronouns after a
verb or a preposition.
Example:
-The letter is on the sofa. You are sitting on it!

5. The Passive Voice is used in English when the person
or thing that is receiving the action is more
important than the person or thing that is
performing the action.
-Active Voice: the subject (the woman) does the
action.
-Passive Voice: the subject (the baby) receives the
action.
Example:
-The woman kissed the baby. (Active Voice).
-The baby was kissed by the woman (Active Voice).

Example:
-Mary + paints + pictures + in her free time. (Active Voice)
