1. I used the same uppercase font and same style as the front page masthead and it follows the convention of a standard music magazine. The main image links to the target audience of our magazine as they are young adults which are dressed in the style of our genre of music so the audience can relate to this. The “cover story” graphic shows the features that have been shown on the front cover. This keeps the conventions of a typical music magazine as other magazines such as Q use this on their contents pages, I know this by using the radial analysis. The issue number shows that our magazine is popular as the magazine is new but many issues have been made. The features and regulars section keep the conventions of a music magazine as these have been used in other magazine such as Kerrang, I found this by studying our radial analysis. The copy on the image explains the picture. It has been placed in the bottom corner so it does not interfere with the main image. The editors column is very informal and explains from the editors point of view what is featured in this issue of the magazine. The writing used on this page is informal, this appeals to the audience as the text is not boring and it does not drag on. The editors signature and his photo give a personal relationship between himself and the reader. The “what's inside entity” text gets the audience excited as they would like to find out what is in this months issue.
