Respected faculty and Dear participants Good morning It is a great pleasure for me to be here today with you At first On behalf of BPATC I welcome you all to this center I am going to brief you about the module 12 on Gender equality and child rights As you know Gender inequality is a universal issue and Gender it has long-term impacts in our society . Thus, there is a great need to sensitize the society on gender issues so that there would be no discrimination on the basis of gender. Women and children are still fighting for their rights Therefore, the main purpose of the module is to make you understand that • Gender Equality is Not Just a Women’s Issue it is everyone’s issue” • Gender equality is men issue too
