for hundreds of years, agriculture has been the activity most important to human survival and well-being. In many cases of the world, however, it is not fulfilling its vital function of feeding people, providing other basic commodities and generating stable income. Sharp population growth and accelerated urbanization have created a pressing need for more and more agricultural outputs. By the year 2025, an estimated 57 percent of the populations of developing countries are expected to live in urban areas, compared with 34 percent at present. Accelerated demand for agricultural products has exerted ever-increasing pressures on the natural resource base, resulting in excessive deforestation, loss of biological diversity, degradation of soils and various forms of pollution and contamination.

2. Agriculture is world’s largest Industry
and play key roles in;
• Employment
• Over $1.3 trillion dollars
• Poverty reduction
• Job creation
• Food security
4. What is Sustainable Agriculture?
• Protecting the environment

10. A Five-Course Menu of Solutions for a
Sustainable Food Future Steps
• “Millions of farmers, companies, consumers and every government
on the planet will have to make changes to meet the global food
challenge. At every level, the food system must be linked to climate
strategies as well as ecosystem protections and economic prosperity,”
mentioned by Steer M. (2018) in World Resources Report: Creating a
Sustainable Food Future.
11. Steps to sustainability
1. Reduce growth in demand for food and other agricultural products
2. Increase food production without expanding agricultural land
3. Protect and restore natural ecosystems
4. Increase fish supply
5. Reduce harmful emissions from agricultural production

Editor's Notes
There are several possible explanations for this result.WE ARE EATING MORE DESTROYING MORE, BUYING MORE EVEN WE DO NOT REALLY NEED THE THINGS WE BOUGHT.
Unsustainable practices have serious impacts on people and the environment.
Sustainable agriculture is farming in sustainable ways.
An example, farmers across china japan are using ducks instead of pesticides for eating weeds, and insects.
What is interesting in this data is that how do we feed 10 billion people?
In three words; I can explain; by investing technology.
No significant reduction in Lower Emission was found compared with Sustainability
.
Technology is not a silver bullet, but it holds incredible potential to transform sectors rapidly – and to increase productivity, while lowering emissions and waste.
WE SHOULD ACT AS IF THE HOUSE WAS ON FIRE
The most surprising aspect of the data is food loss rates. The most striking result to emerge from the data is that Production waste rates. A possible explanation for these results may be the lack of awareness ....
Data-driven, indoor vertical farming and crop management solutions.
