Part 1. Filipino
Part 2. Mathematics
Part 3. English
There are 4 Tools for Literacy and Numeracy depending on the language
that the school use in teaching the competencies in Mathematics 3 (Tagalog,
Hiligaynon, Sinugbuanong Binisaya, and Maguindanaoan).
Note: The Division shall coordinate with the schools for Literacy and Numeracy as to the
language they use in Mathematics 3 before printing.

Prone and
Conflict Areas
Conflict-vulnerable areas refer to communities that are proximate to conflict-affected areas where
possible side-stepping of armed groups is imminent. It can also include geographically isolated and
disadvantaged areas whose resources, actual or symbolic, are deemed valuable by the armed
group. (DO 32, s. 2019) Schools are situated in high hazard (natural or manmade hazard) areas
with high vulnerability and exposure but have less capacity and resiliency. (UNDR)
2. IPED Schools The program envisions for the empowering of Indigenous Peoples and their communities to claim, exercise and protect
their rights to peace and development in accordance with their cultures and traditions shall adhere to the achievement
of the following: Improved Access to Formal Education.
3. Madrasah
Education
Program
A comprehensive program in public and private schools that aims to provide
appropriate and relevant educational opportunities within the context of Muslim
culture, customs, traditions, and interests through the integration of the Arabic
Language and Islamic Values Education (ALIVE) in the basic education curriculum.
4. Multigrade A multigrade class consists of two or more different grade levels in a single
grade classroom manned by one teacher for an entire school year.

SPECIAL PROGRAMS
For Elementary and JHS, there will be an additional 20
participants for each of the special programs offered by the
school. The learners shall be encoded separately according to
the offered Programs.
1. SSES (Special Science Elementary Schools)
2. STE, RSHS (Science, Tech & Engineering/ Reg’l SHS)
3. SPJ(Special Program in Journalism)
4. SPA(Special Program in the Arts)
5. SPS( Special Program in Sports )
6. SPTVE (Special Program in Technical and Vocational Education)

There will be 20
participants per SHS strand.

A.1 Schedule of Tests
A template will be provided to encode the
exam schedule of the schools.
Test Materials Printing
The electronic copy of the TOOLS for testing
will be provided after the Division Orientation
and shall be reproduced by the school . It is
suggested that it shall be done discretely.

A.2 Test Administrator/Proctor
The School head shall select the Test
Administrators/Proctors for the Tests. The Test
administrator/proctor MUST NOT BE TEACHING THE
GRADE LEVEL BEING TESTED. There shall be one
proctor for every testing room.
Note: 20 is the maximum number of learners in a testing room.

A.3 Orientation of Testing personnel
The DTCs shall conduct orientation to the School
heads and Proctor before the actual assessment.

A.4 Preparation of the Testing Venue
The testing venue shall be prepared by the schools to ensure
that a maximum of 20 learners can be accommodated with
enough spacing to avoid cheating.

A.5 Printing of Test Materials
The Division Office through the Division Testing and SMME Coordinator shall ensure that the
required number of copies for each school is printed.
The School shall print the required number of copies for every assessment tool which includes
the following:
1. Regional Assessment Tool for Reading and Listening
2. Regional Assessment Tool for MTB-MLE
3. Literacy and Numeracy for Key Stage 1 (Mathematics, English, Filipino)
4. Literacy and Numeracy for Key Stage 2 (Mathematics, English, Filipino, Science)
5. Literacy and Numeracy for Key Stage 3 (Mathematics, English, Filipino, Science)
6. Literacy and Numeracy for Key Stage 4 (Mathematics, English, Filipino, Science)

  • 9. TYPOLOGY SOCCSKSARGEN REGION TYPOLOGY CHARACTERISTICS Samples 1. SMALL Less than or equal to 440 learners 15 learners 2. MEDIUM 441-840 learners 20 learners 3. LARGE 841-1240 learners 40 learners 4. VERY LARGE 1241-Above 40 learners TYPOLOGY CHARACTERISTICS 1. Disaster Prone and Conflict Areas Conflict-vulnerable areas refer to communities that are proximate to conflict-affected areas where possible side-stepping of armed groups is imminent. It can also include geographically isolated and disadvantaged areas whose resources, actual or symbolic, are deemed valuable by the armed group. (DO 32, s. 2019) Schools are situated in high hazard (natural or manmade hazard) areas with high vulnerability and exposure but have less capacity and resiliency. (UNDR) 2. IPED Schools The program envisions for the empowering of Indigenous Peoples and their communities to claim, exercise and protect their rights to peace and development in accordance with their cultures and traditions shall adhere to the achievement of the following: Improved Access to Formal Education. 3. Madrasah Education Program A comprehensive program in public and private schools that aims to provide appropriate and relevant educational opportunities within the context of Muslim culture, customs, traditions, and interests through the integration of the Arabic Language and Islamic Values Education (ALIVE) in the basic education curriculum. 4. Multigrade A multigrade class consists of two or more different grade levels in a single grade classroom manned by one teacher for an entire school year.
  • 10. TYPOLOGY SOCCSKSARGEN REGION SPECIAL PROGRAMS For Elementary and JHS, there will be an additional 20 participants for each of the special programs offered by the school. The learners shall be encoded separately according to the offered Programs. 1. SSES (Special Science Elementary Schools) 2. STE, RSHS (Science, Tech & Engineering/ Reg’l SHS) 3. SPJ(Special Program in Journalism) 4. SPA(Special Program in the Arts) 5. SPS( Special Program in Sports ) 6. SPTVE (Special Program in Technical and Vocational Education)
  • 11. TYPOLOGY SOCCSKSARGEN REGION SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL There will be 20 participants per SHS strand.
  • 12. REGIONAL STANDARDIZED ASSESSMENT SOCCSKSARGEN REGION BEFORE THE TEST ADMINISTRATION A.1 Schedule of Tests A template will be provided to encode the exam schedule of the schools. Test Materials Printing The electronic copy of the TOOLS for testing will be provided after the Division Orientation and shall be reproduced by the school . It is suggested that it shall be done discretely.
  • 13. REGIONAL STANDARDIZED ASSESSMENT SOCCSKSARGEN REGION BEFORE THE TEST ADMINISTRATION A.2 Test Administrator/Proctor The School head shall select the Test Administrators/Proctors for the Tests. The Test administrator/proctor MUST NOT BE TEACHING THE GRADE LEVEL BEING TESTED. There shall be one proctor for every testing room. Note: 20 is the maximum number of learners in a testing room.
  • 14. REGIONAL STANDARDIZED ASSESSMENT SOCCSKSARGEN REGION BEFORE THE TEST ADMINISTRATION A.3 Orientation of Testing personnel The DTCs shall conduct orientation to the School heads and Proctor before the actual assessment.
  • 15. REGIONAL STANDARDIZED ASSESSMENT SOCCSKSARGEN REGION BEFORE THE TEST ADMINISTRATION A.4 Preparation of the Testing Venue The testing venue shall be prepared by the schools to ensure that a maximum of 20 learners can be accommodated with enough spacing to avoid cheating.
  • 16. REGIONAL STANDARDIZED ASSESSMENT SOCCSKSARGEN REGION BEFORE THE TEST ADMINISTRATION A.5 Printing of Test Materials The Division Office through the Division Testing and SMME Coordinator shall ensure that the required number of copies for each school is printed. The School shall print the required number of copies for every assessment tool which includes the following: 1. Regional Assessment Tool for Reading and Listening 2. Regional Assessment Tool for MTB-MLE 3. Literacy and Numeracy for Key Stage 1 (Mathematics, English, Filipino) 4. Literacy and Numeracy for Key Stage 2 (Mathematics, English, Filipino, Science) 5. Literacy and Numeracy for Key Stage 3 (Mathematics, English, Filipino, Science) 6. Literacy and Numeracy for Key Stage 4 (Mathematics, English, Filipino, Science)

  • 25. REGIONAL STANDARDIZED ASSESSMENT SOCCSKSARGEN REGION AFTER THE TEST ADMINISTRATION C.1. The Division Testing Coordinators shall ensure that all schools shall be able to submit results. Report on the schools who submitted results shall be given to the Schools Division Superintendent.

C. Print the materials (The principal and the school testing coordinator shall ensure the confidentiality of the test materials)
  • 30. REGIONAL STANDARDIZED ASSESSMENT SOCCSKSARGEN REGION Proctors A. Facilitate the conduct of the Tests B. Check students’ answer sheets C. Encode results In case there will be problems on the internet connection, a template for the result shall be given. The proctor may bring it to an area with strong internet connection for encoding.
