Business Travel Manager, The Americas
Responsible for leading and managing all facets of the Philips travel program in The Americas (travel agency, airline, hotel, rental
car, charge cards) with an approximate annual spend of 10M in Latin America and 58M in North America with 2 direct reports
working as Operations Managers. In this position, I drove the program including change management, employee education on
travel policy content and communications of the impact of non-compliance to the relevant stakeholders in the organization.
Achieved and maintained a 90% to 92% average monthly online booking adoption rate in the top 4 countries based on spend for
the Americas: US, Canada, Brazil and Argentina. I monitored and enforced policy by changing traveler behavior and optimizing
cost savings opportunities. I was also responsible for supplier management, meeting SLA goals, performance of contracted
agreements in all vendor categories, and overall P&L responsibility of the program in the Region.

Managed all travel related travel services for GSK in 14 countries in Latin America plus Canada, with a total company annual
travel spend of USD$100M. Responsible for driving the program in the Region including change management, implementations,

a global travel team of 9 plus 15 dotted-line report country Account Managers, had total accountability for meeting SLA, operational

agencies down to 2 – one domestic and one international – servicing over 30,000 employees.
