 Handle Import Airfreight, LCL and FCL shipments from USA, China, Korea, Malaysia, Philippines,
Serbia, Germany, Slovakia, France, Finland, Italy, U.K and other European countries, operation
including:
o Supplier’s documents checking
o Follow up documents submission as per LC / when applicable
o Arrange customs clearance & delivery to the warehouse
o Check and submit relevant invoices to the accounting department
o Update local customer, prepare delivery notes and invoices.
 Handle Export airfreight, Land Freight, Multimodal (Sea, Truck), LCL and FCL shipments to Arab
countries (Jordan, Iraq, Saudi Arabia, Yemen…) including:
o Follow up goods readiness and delivery in Lebanon
o Follow up supplier’s payment
o Manage invoices and export declarations
o Coordinate and provide export documentation with the forwarders
o Arrange SGS / BIVAC inspection when applicable
o Arrange documents certification and legalization when applicable
o Prepare documents as per LC and present to the bank when applicable
o Follow up booking and loading details
o Update the clients and arrange delivery as per the contract and 2010 Incoterms.
 Handle cross trade Airfreight, Land Freight (LTL, FTL) , Sea Freight (FCL, LCL) shipment from
USA, Europe, China to the Arab countries and Africa as Egypt, Ghana, Uganda, Cameroon, Nigeria
… including:
o Follow up orders status with the supplier (readiness, packing details, delivery)..
o Arrange payments (coordinate with Accounting & LC departments)..
o Prepare documentation including certification & legalization
o (invoice, packing list, Waybill, EUR1, Certificate of Origin, SASO certificate, SONCAP certificate,
Certificates of Conformity as per countries rule)…
o Get quotations from forwarders (checking best rates & transit time)…
o Respect and Meet projects deadline, alert the sales team if any delay on production
o Negotiate shipping rates to meet the project budget
o Arrange shipping consolidations to minimize cost
o Present final total cost to project owner and accounting department
o Pre- planning a shipping schedule.
o Provide full shipping instructions.
o Follow up on time shipping (pick up, loading, departure, arrival, clearance completion when
required, and arrange delivery).
o Update clients on order status.
o Follow up payment collection.
o Report projects cost
o Present weekly report to the management and projects owner.
