 Supervise at import and export specialists working.
 Making a forecast for total amount of foreign currency the company needs.
 Supervise at electronic payment for customs.
 Working on develop the work cycle.
 Import Specialist in Elaraby Group (Toshiba) from 7/2007
 Preparing LCS for import and export LCS
 Booking the shipment with the suppliers and follow up the shipment.
 Transfer the money to the suppliers and making all necessary documents.
 Pass the document to customs department and close the project with the bank
As to documentary Credits:
 Check Pro-forma invoice after receiving it from purchasing department
(Applicant’s name, Beneficiary’s name, quantities, shipping ports and arrival air
ports or sea ports, special requests, bank’s details, Incoterms, delivery time and
shipping marks etc…)
 Discuss any terms must be cited in L/C with the vendor prior to L/C creation
 Prepare the application to Issuing Bank which specify all terms and conditions like
the charges in and out, confirmation instructions plus determine the required
documents (for two cases finished products and raw materials) etc…..
 Chasing L/C creation (bank's swift)
 Make corrections and amendments for any terms or conditions with Issuing Bank if
required
 Check with the vendor/supplier for any required amendments
 Chase the shipping and obtain original of all required shipping documents for
clearance
 Follow up the payment to the vendor
Banks
 Very good communication with the banks for UCP 600 , ISBP 681
 Very good communication with the banks for INCOTERMS 2000 & 2010 &2013
 Very good communications with banks for L/Cs creation and remittance values to
vendors
 Very good communication with banks for amendments and discrepancies in
shipping documents
As to the credit (treasury):
 Negotiation with banks to select the best credit offers to minimize the costing.
As to the insurance:
 Make the insurance with insurance companies to be covered the commodity
according to Incoterms mentioned in L/C
 Check conditions in insurance policy/certificate according to the commodity like
if transhipment covered or not, the values, currency, shipping port and destination
port, etc…
As to the shipping:
 The negotiation with the shipping lines for FCL or forwarders agents for LCL and
freight forwards (Air) to obtain the best prices and containers free days
 Select the shipping lines for FCL or forwarders agents for LCL and freight forwards
for air cargo
 Specify the method of the shipping according to the commodity (Break bulk,
general cargo, dry container, flat rack, consolidation, air cargo)
 Follow up the vessels to know the arrival date in order to avert the demurrage at
CY (follow up through internet or representative office)
 Settle freight payment, credit; check (FCL, LCL, GC and KGS)
As to the Shipping documents:
 Check the shipping documents per L/C terms, UCP 600 and ISBP 681 once
receiving it from the vendor and prior to submitting it to the bank to be endorsed
in particular CI, CO, PL, EUR 1, and BOL
 Follow up the arrival date in case of sea cargoes
As to the Customs:
 Draw up the shipping documents and pass it to the customs broker for the clearance
 Follow up with customs broker till the clearance
 Check customs tariff and customs calculation
 I'm doing the above steps also with Transfers (like payment in advance or collection
or Cash against documents).
 Draw up and chase with the banks T.T (Telegraph Transfer)

 Computer: Microsoft Office programs, SAP.( Windows, Word, Excel, power point,
Outlook and Internet and Minitab
 Language: mother tongue
 English: Very Good writing, spooking and conversation
