Within this report, I used the software MailChimp to create a CRM and Email Marketing campaign for a Small to Medium sized company. Within the report, I designed an email for Prospects or new customers, an email that explain the story of the company, an email that answers questions by solving typical problems that the company's current customers were experiencing, and lastly an email that marketed a loyalty program.

For my client, Greeks and More, the audience that is intended for the email campaign
would be prospects or new customers, and loyal customers. These customers would be in the
demographics defined as UCF students that are associated in the Greek community. Each student
belongs to one of 48 fraternities or sororities. Typically, the history and culture of these groups is
to have each member primarily base their clothing style around the fraternities and sororities,
showing which one they belong to. By specializing the company in customizing clothing and
accessories for these members, my client has found a way to make profit. The audience for these
email campaigns then will follow these guidelines. Each semester, fraternities and sororities
bring in and retain members, just as the sales process goes. One aspect for a fraternity and or
sorority to be successful is that they need members to show their support by wearing clothes or
accessories that label who they belong too. Almost all new or retained members know about my
client through word of mouth, and go to my client to purchase clothing and accessories.
Therefore, any member in the Greek community will be a part of my client’s email campaign
audience in order to inform them about products and retain them as customers.
In order for my email campaigns to be successful and deliver my audience the right
information while including easy information to follow, my email marketing software must be
chosen carefully. By choosing the correct software, I will choose based off the following
credentials. The software must include a free trail, or be completely free. The reason so, is
because I want my client to not have to invest a large amount of money in this software, and if
we see sales increase after the campaign, then we will consider upgrading the software. Next, I
want the software to be able to send out an unlimited amount of emails. My client shouldn’t be
limited on how much they want to market based on the software’s limitations. Along with those
features, I want my clients email marketing software to also include a form of customer support,

incase my client has trouble working the software, and to also allow third party application
integration. Therefore, I have narrowed my choice to using MailChimp as my client’s email
marketing campaign software. At first, my client can try MailChimp for free, but will soon
realize that an upgrade to $10/month will give access to premium templates, and comparative
tools and analytics for a reasonable rate.
