2. Under the Course Menu, 1) select Discussions. Scroll to the discussion forum you
wish to add a rubric to and 2) click on the chevron next to the title and 3) select Edit.
3. To add a rubric to the discussion forum—either create a new one OR link an existing
rubric by clicking on 4) Add Rubric. To show the rubric to students 5) select Yes .
4. When a student opens the discussion forum, they will see Grading Information at
the top of the screen next to Create Thread. 6) Clicking on Grading Information will
open a new window where they will be able to click on a box to view the linked
rubric.
6. The following is an example of the student view of a linked rubric.
7. Faculty will be able to access grading rubrics when grading the discussion forum by
going to the Grade by Rubric box after a rubric has been linked to the discussion
forum.
