To make money from affiliate commissions, this step is VERY IMPORTANT. You need to know how to ADD IN YOUR OWN AFFILIATE LINKS and HOW TO GET YOUR SHARE FUNNEL LINK. Affiliate links is the key component to ClickFunnels paying you. That way they know that someone bought something through your link, and in return, you get up to 40% commissions. I will also show you a few basic tips in customizing your own funnel.

2. Adding In Your Affiliate Links
Adding in your affiliate links is
pretty simple. First you need to go
to your dashboard, and hover over
the top right of the page (as
shown in the picture). Then click
“Affiliates”.

Next click the first blue button
you see, “Affiliate Tools – Get My
Links!” (as shown in the picture).

After that, scroll down the page
until you see “What Do You Want
To Promote?” (picture). Since we
are promoting the ClickFunnels
software, click “Get Affiliate
Tools” under where it says “Free
14 Day Trial”.

Once you get to the screen shown
in the picture, underneath where
it says “Choose Link”, make sure
it says “ClickFunnels Trial”. Then
there should be a link that pops
up underneath “Custom Link”.
Copy this link! Maybe even save it
to a Word document or a notepad.
What we will do next is add this
link in your shared funnel. So
after you’re done copying your
link head back to the dashboard.

Once you are back at the
dashboard, hover over where it
says “ClickFunnels” and click
“Browse Funnels”.

Next, go under where it says
“Shared Funnels” and click on the
shared funnel that you got from
Step #2.

After that, click on the “Thank
You” optin, then click edit page.

Next, scroll down to where it says
“Step #1” and hover over the
button “Click Here To Get Your
ClickFunnels 14-Day Free Trial”.
Click on the orange gear icon as
shown in the picture.

There should be a right popup
screen as shown in the picture.
Click “Set Action”.

Click “Go To Website URL”. Next
you want to paste in your affiliate
link. Also, MAKE SURE IT SAYS
“Open in New Tab/Window”. This
will ensure that whenever a
person clicks on your link, it will
open a new window so that the
person can also stay on your
funnel.

Another cool thing you can do is
highlight random words in your
funnel and attach your affiliate
link to those words. So what you
do is first highlight a word where
you wish to attach your affiliate
link. Then click on the chain icon
as shown in the picture.

Then paste in your affiliate link.
Also make sure the arrow icon
(shown in the picture) is enabled
so that it will open up a new
window whenever a person clicks
on your link.
Once that’s all done, click “Save”
at the top right of your screen
(shown in picture) to save all your
progress. You can also click
“Preview” to see if your links
work.
What we are going to do next is
add in our shareable funnel link.
So head back to your dashboard
and I will show you what to do
next.

From your dashboard, hover over
“ClickFunnels” and click “Browse
Funnels”.

Click on the funnel that I shared
with you from Step #2.

Next, click “Settings”.

After that, scroll down to where it
says “Share This Funnel URL”.
Copy the the link that is inside.
This is your shareable funnel link.

Next, head back into your “Thank
You” optin page and scroll down
to where it says “Step #2”. Hover
over the button “Click Here To
Download This Funnel Into Your
ClickFunnels Account” and click
the gear icon.

Next, set the action to “Go To
Website URL” and paste in your
shareable funnel link. Also make
sure that “Open in New
Tab/Window” is checked.
Once you’ve done that, your
shareable funnel link has been
successfully added into your
custom funnel.

20. Now you’re probably wondering… “What do I do
with the buttons in Steps, #3,4, and 5?”
Answer: Don’t mess with any of these buttons
because I have already added in the necessary
links. Unless you’re an AWeber or Udimi affiliate,
feel free to add in those links to those buttons.
Also, unless you have PowerPoints of your own
or have your own PDF files (Email Template and
Swipe File Template), don’t mess with any of the
buttons either.
What we are going to focus on is adding a little
bit of your creativity to this funnel. So go ahead
and proceed to the next slide and I will give you
some of the basics on making this funnel your
very own.

Now we are going to add in our
profile picture. So scroll to the
top of the “Thank You” optin
page. Hover over the “Demo
Image” and click the gear icon.

Click on the image icon as shown
in the picture below.

Click “Upload” to add a picture
from your computer.
Next select the image you
uploaded from your computer and
click “Add Image”.

24. If your image is too big, go to
where it says “Image Width” and
type in a number that will make it
small enough to see on the
screen. Don’t worry about “Image
Height” because as you adjust the
width, the height will
automatically adjust on its own.

Next, in the text box below where
it says “(Your Name Here)”, erase
that and type in your name.

Next, we are going to change up
the background. On the page,
click “Settings” then
“Background”.

Next, click on the “BG Image”
icon as shown in the picture.

After that, go to the “Background”
tab and select your favorite color
(for this example I chose yellow)
then click “Add Image”.

If you’ve done this correctly, your
new background should like the
one as shown in the picture
below.

30. If you’ve gotten this far, then congratulations. I’ve basically
given you all the tools you need to make this your own funnel.
There’s many websites and videos on YouTube to show you
how to customize your funnel even further, but I feel like that
isn’t necessary because I think that this funnel is already set
up for you perfectly. Just remember to do these key things:
- Add in your affiliate links
- Add in your share funnel link
- Add in your profile picture
- Add in your name
- Change up the background
- Add or change up some words if you feel like you need to be
more clear.
